Neighbours’Day 10th anniversary

Neighbours’ Day has celebrated its 10th
anniversary this year!
Since its launch in 2000 in Paris,
Neighbours’Day has never ceased to
develop and now a day travels beyond
the European borders.

10 million citizens took part all around the
world.

32 countries (20 European Union countries). Henceforth Neighbours’Day
is celebrated on the 5 continents.

Toolkit’s optimization
Considering the international dimension of
Neighbours’Day, a new web portal has been
created: www.world-neighbours-day.org. From
the United States to Japan, through Latin
America and Europe, you can find out every
thing you need about Neighbours’ Day
celebrations around the world.
Showcase of our success, our website
www.european-neighbours-day.eu has been
totally revamped. Our site hosts 38 fullydedicated national satellite sites, all
displayed in their respective local languages.
Enhanced with new “country” pages (Serbia,
Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro) and an
ever-growing number of members, the site
proposes instant upload and display of
articles, photos and videos from all over the world.
To make the event’s organisation easier, a communication kit is provided
to all city councils and organisations partners. It is now available directly
on the website www.european-neighbours-day.eu.
This kit contains :
• The informatics files in high definition format (leaflet, invitation, post
card and poster)
• A guide book, a timetable and a good practices guide.
