Thanks for the help!
Thanks to everyone for your help and support for Christmas on the Farm 2013. Once again, it was a huge success
with a record of 841 visitors!
There were lots of new deputies helping out this year, so
please let me know if I’ve left anyone out!
My sincere thanks go out to the following people, without
whom the event would not have been such a success:
• Sgt. Dennis Coleman as Santa Claus.
• Tamara Snider as Ms. Claus.
• Deputy Anthony Anderson as the Elf.
• Deputy Titus Hodges as Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer.
• Deputy Angelina Lubin, Jo Socha, and Sue Harrison for
handing out Santa’s gifts to the children.
• Tamara Snider’s mom for being our greeter and handing
out flyers at the entrance gate.
• Deputy Wesley Jefferson for keeping count of all the visitors entering the farm.
• Deputies Jennifer Ettish, Alix Pierre, Eyner Diaz, Nathan
Curry, Tommy Durham, Keith Davis, and Sebastian Pawlaczyk helped out with various duties and kept a general
eye on the farm.
• Pete Peterson for selling farm t-shirts, books and bottled
water.
• Mike Grattan for helping to keep general order on the
farm.
• Candi Busald and Deputy Alvarez Rice for face painting
for the children.
• Carol Peterson for taking donations for photos with Santa.
• Deputy Nancy Torrijos and her daughter for assisting kids
at the craft/coloring table.
• Emil LaVache for delivering flyers to all of the local
schools, and for also keeping an eye on the donation box
at the gate.
• Deputy Killen for providing clean uniforms for the trusties.
• Becky Herrin for getting the word out to the media and for
taking photos during the event.
• The maintenance crew and public works, for providing
tables, chairs, and extension cords.
Thanks again to all of you, as I could not have done it
without your help!
Happy Holidays!
