Professors Meeting and Discussion
Semester 2015-2
At the beginning of every semester our BBA teachers and our
office member have a meeting with our school Director Erik
Perez. During the meeting the school introduce new teaching
methods to our faculty so they can provided the best teaching
experience to our students. The subject of this meeting was
how to implement the APAP in the class by Prof. Stephanie
Rivera.

Vive la Experiencia UNIBE was organized on the
10th to the 14th of November in order to
introduce the different careers that are being
offered at the University. The Dual Degree BBA
program encountered great success during this
event, where numerous candidates applied
and
showed
interest
in
joining
our
establishment.

our program. The event was
held for those students
interested in being part of our
International Business

Wharton Business
The International Business School
students received the visit of students
from the Wharton Business school.
The meeting was held by our school
director Mr. Erik Perez Vega,
Macroeconomics Professor, Jose
Gabriel Perdomo, and the current
macroeconomics’ students. During
the visit we had special speakers
such as: the Executive Director of the
Regional Center for Sustainable
Economic Strategy and Adjunct
Professor of Economics at UNIBE, Mr.
Ernesto
Selma,
APAP’S
social
investment manager Michelle Disla
and the Dean of International and
Institutional Affairs, Loraine Amell.

Cortes Hermanos’s Visit
The International Business School (BBA) students
went to visit the facilities at the Cortes Hermanos
S.R.L. The visit was an outside campus experience
for the class of Operational Management II.
The visit was held by the Operation
Management professor Hector Martinez.

He for She program
by Vice President’s Office
These are pictures of the activities undertaken with Super Enterprising
women, where school students International Business (BBA) UNIBE, along
with its director Mr. Erik Perez Vega provide help during this program.
The students were representing their business school during the launch
of the new program called “He for she”.
He For She program is a solidarity movement for gender equality
developed by UN Women to engage men and boys as advocates
and agents of change for the achievement of gender equality and
women’s rights. The campaign encourages them to speak out and
take action against inequalities faced by women and girls.
BPD’s Educational Workshop
The Banco Popular Dominicano offer a Financial Educational
Workshop for the students of the international Business School
(BBA). The workshop was held by Mr. Diego Sosa with the
participation of Mr.Carlos Reyes, Family Own Business professor
and Mr. Christian Esquea, Financial Math professor at BBA.

The Visit of the
Writter Fari Rosario
The Spanish II students with the company of Mrs. Ofelia Berrido, Spanish
Proffesor at BBA, received the visit of the writter, proffesor and
Pshicologist Fari Rosario. Students enjoyed fully the opportunity to
exchange ideas with the author of the text that had just read and
discussed in class.
Fari Rosario talked with young students about the unique and attractive
style of his work and creative process. He also presented the work of the
writers included in the anthology " El Columpio de los Sonámbulos". So,
they talked about Juan Bosch, Marcio Veloz Maggiolo, Leon David, Jose
Alcantara Almanzar, Pedro Peix, Angela Hernandez, Manuel del Cabral,
Carmen Imbert, Rafael Peralta, Cesar Augusto Zapata, among others.
Indeed, it was a beautiful event both by the presence of Fari Rosario and
the fact that students were identified with the genre, its brevity, cohesion
and depth.

The International Business class received the visit of the
special speaker: Sarah Mencia from Canadian
Scotiabank Headquaters
Students enjoyed fully the opportunity to exchange
ideas about the work international experience.

The Business and Professional
Communications WS students with
the company of Mr. Ali Hashmi,
Proffesor at BBA, received the visit
of the Mr. Jose Miguel Bonetti from
Mercasid Group.
Mr. Bonetti talked with young
students about his life and
professional development.
Visit to the “Museo De Arte
Moderno”
During the semester the students
of Spanish II with their teacher
Ofelia Berrido visited the Modern
Arts Museum. During the visit the
students appreciated how
litterature has a main role in the
development of art.
Free Speach Activity
During the semester the students of
Spaish II class held an activity with their
teacher Ofelia Berrido were each of the
students wrote a free topic speach and
present it to the class.
This activity students practice their
communication skills and show their
capacity to present and prepare good
content speaches in a business related
form.
