If you were asked which manufacturer was the first to launch a car seat for children – what would
you answer?
That‘s right: Storchenmühle!
Back in 1963 – when many cars did not even have safety belts – we brought the world‘s first
child seat onto the market: the “Niki“. Even then, the safety of children in the car was our top priority!
The list of other innovations – from the 4-point belt system through the first Isofix and Reboard
systems – goes on and on. We‘re concerned with continuously optimising our products and developing
new safety techniques.
The look of our seats is as important as the technology. Both you and your child must like the seat
– otherwise it won‘t be used at all. This is why our DESIGNER has created a new collection using
modern, fresh colour and material combinations that offer a style to suit every taste.

The internationally standardised “Isofix” fastening system for child seats with their own harness system involves
Isofix anchor points in the vehicle being permanently attached to the bodyshell. These standardised mountings
enable the Storchenmühle Isofix-Base to be anchored simply and quickly. Its adjustable supports make it a safe
and stable base for the Storchenmühle Twin 0+ (up to approx. 15 months) and the Storchenmühle Twin One
(up to approx. 4.5 years).

The new Solar Seatfix provides as much safety and comfort as its “brother”, the Solar, does. The new Solar
Seatfix’s integrated Seatfix arms can be attached to the Isofix mounting points in your car. The child, secured
