Inauguration of the Seat Belt Convincer at CEC

Cairn India has set up seat belt Convincer at CEC to promote road safety and as per its name it motivates
people to wear seat belts while driving or taking up any journey. Road Safety has been in the core of
company’s business and hence this leap would be helping in not only educating the drivers but also other
stakeholders.
The inauguration ceremony of the Seat Belt Convincer was organised at Cairn Enterprise Centre (CEC) in
which Director General of Mines and District Transport Officer (DTO), Barmer participated.
A demonstration was provided to the dignitaries and the DTO himself also took a trial of the seat belt
convincer.
DTO requested Cairn support during the Road Safety Week and suggested that the said seat belt
convincer can be used for spreading the message of using seat belts to a wider audience.
The opportunity was also availed to have a discussions on the need for safe driving and DTO suggested
that a dedicated space can be provided in RTO premises to train all new license aspirants. It was agreed
to work out a plan and execute the same at the earliest.
