Williamsport, located at the heart of central
Pennsylvania, is quickly becoming an historical
and cultural center for the arts. On the First Friday
of every month, businesses keep their doors open
late to host local artists, bands, and art events of
all kinds. The goal of First Friday is to celebrate the
arts while promoting local artists and enhancing
Williamsport’s reputation as the Northern Tier’s
regional cultural center.
Through the success of First Friday, many
permanent art related establishments have
setup shop in our lovely downtown. This map
was created to help tourists, students, and new
residents discover the great artistic venues at
our disposal.
