Meet the Teachers
Mavis Thompson is a certified
teacher and brings over 28 years of
teaching experience, knowledge,
skill, and love for all children to the
ZooSchool program. The curriculum
is greatly enhanced by the daily
education and interaction within the
ZooMontana gates.
Sarah Harris is a certified Montessori
teacher with over 15 years of
educational experience in both formal
and informal settings. She is passionate about bringing her love of wildlife
and the natural world into the
classroom. Ms. Sarah believes that
children are natural scientists and that
they learn by participating in hands
on activities, projects and
explorations.
Marnie Emond is a certified teacher.
She has a Masters Degree in
Education. Her interest and focus
has been on teaching preschool
children. She enjoys the enthusiasm
and wonder young children have for
learning new things. She believes the
zoo and the animals are a great
platform to foster a love of school
and learning in students.

ZooSchool Preschool strives to provide complete
Kindergarten readiness for children in the fun and
exciting setting of ZooMontana!

The Details
Registration opens March 1, 2016
Monthly Tuition:
Kindergarten Prep: $250.00
3 Year Olds: $70.00
3-4-5 Year Olds: $150.00-$200.00
Must be a current ZooMontana Member to enroll.
Students will learn standard preschool content such
as numbers and counting, alphabet, colors, story
reading, sing-alongs, art projects, etc. PLUS have
the added excitement of learning about animals,
conservation, and the environment with the help of
ZooMontana’s Animal Keepers and EdZOOcate
staff.
For all classes, each child is
required to have a parent helper in
the classroom for one class per
month. (If you cannot be a parent
helper once a month, $20 per
month will be added to the
standard tuition rate.)
Non-refundable
September tuition is due
by August 10, 2016.
Following payments are
due on the 1st day of
each month. (A $20
late fee will be charged
for late payments.)
Each day is guaranteed to be filled with learning,
enjoying nature and the outdoors, special behind the
zoo scenes opportunities, and most of all... FUN!
Maximum enrollment of 12 students per class.
Children MUST be toilet trained.
Non-refundable Registration Fee
of $50 payable to “ZooSchool”
must be submitted at time of
registration.
ZooSchool follows School District
#2 calendar for holidays and days
off. (Labor Day - Memorial Day)
