Music’s newest super-producer/artist Jahlil Beats is not only
tearing up beat machines in the studio, but he’s tearing up the
billboard charts with hits such as Meek Mill’s “I’m a Boss,” and
the current radio smash “Amen”. This is only just the beginning
for this 24 years young & exceptionally talented producer out of
PA who has worked with artists including Diddy, Rihanna, Busta
Rhymes, Big Sean, J. Cole, Leona Lewis, Lil’ Wayne, Chris Brown
and more.
Growing up in Lomakin Village projects (known to be the worst projects out in Chester, pa), it’s
difficult for a young man with dreams to see clear, but luckily, Jahlil’s tunnel vision kept him
afloat and led him to signing a deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. Jahlil’s father was a musician
himself. From small neighborhood bands and an in-home studio where Jahlil would learn his
craft and cut demos, it was almost evident that they were raising the music industry’s newest
breakout super producer!
With social networks today carrying so much weight and creating new ways for people to communicate
on a daily basis, it wasn’t a surprise to see Jahlil and Meek Mill link with each other via MySpace back in
2008. Jahlil’s very distinctive drums easily complimented Meek’s unique flow. Quickly, Jahlil’s work began
to put a buzz in people’s ears and his workload certainly started to takeoff for the better. Jahlil has a fan
page on facebook, over 1 million hits on YouTube and thousands of followers and supporters on Twitter
and Instagram.
Jahlil is emitting his unique sound on radio airways all across the United States and gaining a large
following internationally, particularly in Canada and Europe. Jahlil has also ventured into the film world by
providing original music and scores for the movies “Streets” and “Battlefield America”.
