THE ENCHANTMENT
OF THE EPHEMERAL DÉCOR
“To make the dream come true for an evening” that is really Julien
Septanil’s watchword. Julien Septanil has been organising for over 20
years now some of the most prestigious receptions in the world.
Having rubbed shoulders with some of the most beautiful women in
the world in the prestigious Soeurs Carita boutique rue du
Faubourg Saint-Honoré, it was quite naturally that some of their
beauty and elegance should have rubbed off on him and left their
imprint in his own personal ideal.
Among these women, Queen Noor of Jordan entrusted to his care
not only her personal image but also the organisation alongside her
own officers of protocol of her official dinners of foreign heads of
State as well as private parties for the royal family.
This then, is how Queen Elizabeth II, the Empress Farah, Prince
Charles and Princess Diana, and the Sultan of Brunei came to dine
at tables specially created for them by Julien Septanil.
After four years in these lands of the Arabian Nights, Julien Septanil
returned to Paris in 1986 to create his own company J.S.A (Julien
Septanil & Associates).
Mixing what is beautiful with what is rare, the highest quality with the
singularly original, Julien Septanil breathes into each of his decors an
impulse, an elegance and a certain poetic and playful quality that lives
only for the space of a single night, a single party or a single season.

& the Place Vendôme Christmas Lighting…
“In 2006, I was inspired by Versailles and the Galerie des Glaces, around a specific theme: “Le Soir d’un Bal” (The Evening of Dance)
In 2008, I worked around a new theme, “Cascades de Perles et de Diamants” (Waterfalls of Diamonds and Pearls)
This year, “La Forêt Enchantée” ™ (The Enchanted Forest ™) is the new theme of Christmas décor.
This will be another seven years I will illuminate this prestigious Paris.
My idea is to fill all corners of the streets and all entrances of shops to tree trunks and branches bright, decorated with bright flowers evanescent.
The advantage is that this decor:
- Will be visible day and night, thanks to the brightness of trunks
- Will be very economical as it is done with LED low power consumption,
- Is easily adaptable to any building, as can be seen on the visual presentation.
This year the Place Vendome celebrates the bicentenary of his famous column.
The best way to create an event that will highlight this bicentennial dignity would be to export to various capitals this setting easily reproducible.
That never happened!
An elegant way to travel the Place Vendome and Paris all over the world.
I can study an adaptation of "The Enchanted Forest" ™ to fit into a prestigious location in your town or another.
The idea that traders can enjoy the lights of Paris is attractive, but the idea that many people including many children can rejoice in our sets also gives us an immense
pleasure.
I ask for your attention and possibly your help to complete this project with an international dimension associated with France's influence abroad, which is very
important for me.”
