A Prayer for our Seminarians
O Lord Jesus Christ, great High Priest, I pray
that You call many worthy souls to Your holy
priesthood. Enlighten the Bishop in the choice
of candidates, the Spiritual Director in molding
them, and the professors in instructing them. Lead
the seminarians daily in Your unerring footsteps;
so that they may become priests who are models
of purity, possessors of wisdom and heroes of
sacrifice; steeped in humility and aflame with
love for God and man; apostles of Your glory and
sanctifiers of souls. Amen.

RE PRESCHOOL-5
Congratulations to all of the kids who received
their First Communion on April 19th!
Thanks so much to all of our teachers and
assistants, and everyone who helped out with
Faith Formation this year! We really appreciate
the time and dedication that you put towards the
youth of our Parish.
If you are interested in teaching or assisting in
a Faith Formation class next year please let me
know. It is a very rewarding opportunity and a
great way to be involved with our Church.
Faith Formation classes will begin again in
October 2014. Look for information on signing
up in the September bulletin and on our website.
Have a great summer!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
We are having Vacation Bible School with Hope
Lutheran again this year. It is scheduled for June
15th – 19th at Hope Lutheran Church and runs
from 9:00 to 12:00 every day. This is for kids
aged 4 to those going into 5th grade this Fall.
There is no charge, but we do need volunteers to
make it successful! If you are in middle school
or older, we can use your help being a group
guide, or leading and assisting at the stations.
These include Bible, Movies, Crafts, Snacks,
Games, and Music. We always need adult help
so please consider leading a station or finding a
friend and being co-leaders. Our theme this year
is Everest – Conquering Challenges with God’s
Mighty Power. You can sign up your children
on-line at http://events.constantcontact.com/
register/event?llr=ornytzkab&oeidk=a07ea
t05tbac48402ba or you can e-mail me any time to
sign up or volunteer at VBS. My e-mail address
is [email protected]. We will also
need volunteers for snack and craft donations, tiedying t-shirts, and helping with lunch on Friday.
We really appreciate your help even if it is only
for a couple of days. Thanks!
MIDDLE SCHOOL
BOZEMAN CATHOLIC YOUTH GROUP
Thank you for another excellent year! Already
looking forward to next year. Some things to think
about for the summer: Bible Study will continue
during the summer but we meet Tuesday evenings
at 6:30 pm at the Bozeman Public Library.
Some of our college volunteers wanted to start a
summer MAN Club, if you have a son who will
be in high school that wants to spend some time,
playing games, and have faith filled discussions,
please contact Kelly and let her know so he can be
put on the list and contacted for upcoming events.
Calling all Seniors!
Please mark the day that we are having a
Baccalaureate Mass for graduating seniors on
Sunday May 17th at the 10:30am Mass. If you have
a child who is graduating and plan on attending,
please RSVP to Kelly Ruby no later than May 13th.
National Catholic Youth Convention
If you have a child who will be in high school
next year, they are eligible to attend the National
Catholic Youth Convention (NCYC). This is a great
four day conference (November 18th-22nd) held in
Indianapolis and we always have a good time.
Please let Kelly know as soon as possible if you
have a child who is interested in attending. Deposit
and application will be due by May 1st! Application
available upon request. Will be a little flexible on
the deadline date, but please let Kelly know no

Confirmation
Just a note on Confirmation, next year I will no
longer be able to Confirm sophomores in High
School. We’ve been able to do this the past couple
of years because the Bishop had stated a specific
age of high school student, but rather had said he
preferred “older” students. This past year he has
made it clear that the expectation is for Juniors and
Seniors. Here’s the good news, this means that you
shouldn’t have to scramble to meet the two year
active participation requirement for your children
to be Confirmed. If they start their involvement
in faith formation as freshman (or even earlier)
they’ll be all set to go when it comes time for them
to enter the confirmation program. If you have any
questions or are looking for more information on
Confirmation please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Holy Rosary Parish Stewardship News
A Stewardship Prayer
Our Blessed Lord!
Our Risen Savior!
We give you thanks
for the awe-inspiring gift of Easter
and the redemption we enjoy
as a result of your gift.
We give you thanks for calling us
your friends
and allowing us to share
your body and blood
in the holy Eucharist.
Oh merciful Lord,
Redeemer and Teacher,
by the power of the Holy Spirit
give us the skills to listen to you
more closely;
the wisdom to put
the Eucharist into action;
and the courage to bring
your Easter message of hope
to a world that desperately needs your love.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
Amen
Burn the Mortgage
I have shared with you previously that our goal for
the Burn the Mortgage Campaign was to collect
as many of our pledges as possible by April 15th. Now that this date has passed, I'd like to update
you all on where we stand, and next steps.
Most importantly, I would like to celebrate today
our accomplishment as a Parish Family! Thanks to
so many of you that are here today--and to others in
our Parish--we have Pledges totaling $1.3 Million
dollars. This was achieved by the generosity of
about 450 of our registered Parish families. Since
we have a little over 1,000 registered families here
at Holy Rosary, that means that about 45% of our
Parish committed to Pledges in this campaign. Make no mistake, $1.3 Million in Pledges and a
45% Participation Rate are huge successes, and
something we as a Parish should be very, very
proud of! My personal thanks, as well as that of
our Campaign and Steering Committees, to each
of you that made a pledge!
Now, where do we go from here? Well, as you
all know from our many conversations, and from
our thermometers posted at our entrances, our
goal was $2 Million for the Burn the Mortgage
Campaign. $2 Million would retire our remaining
debt from our building and renovation work, as
well as any accrued interest on our loan.
So we have not yet met our goal, and we will
be looking at options for both financing and
additional fund raising activities going forward. We must still find ways to chip away at the
remaining $700,000 gap between our $2 Million
Goal and the $1.3 Million in Pledges that we have
committed. Think of this as another phase of the
Burn the Mortgage Campaign that we will better
define in the coming months.
I feel very blessed to be a part of such a vibrant,
generous Parish Family, as I hope each of you
do as well. Lets celebrate and be proud of our
wonderful accomplishments thus far, and be
courageous and confidant in our next steps to
continue our efforts to Burn our Mortgage! Here are the updated numbers for the month!
Pledges- $1,306,430

Second Collection

Second Annual Bozeman Choir Festival
Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 3:00 pm
First Presbyterian Church
Our choir from Holy Rosary will once again be
joining with choirs from all over the area to present
a wonderful afternoon of music. Join us!
A Very Heartfelt Thank You to All!
THANK YOU to all who helped to make the Lent
and Easter seasons at Holy Rosary so beautiful
and prayerful! Without lay ministers, none of this
full and active liturgy could be experienced by all!
The environment inside and outside was profoundly
beautiful through the generous gifts and hard work
of the McGee and Cashman families (Country
Flower Shop and Cashman Nursery).
Staff Parking!!
Your staff of 8 has only 5 designated parking
spaces close to the office and church. Please be
respectful and do not park in these spaces at any
time. Our hours are seven days a week at any
given time of day, so it is important that we know
we can safely park near the building to take care
of things. Thank you!
Calling all MOMS!
A new ministry is beginning next month just for
you! Please join us and bring your little ones for
fun and fellowship. Day and time to be determined

Thank you to the many musicians who grace us
with their talents throughout the year. Profound
thanks to Tucker Torok and our dedicated choir
members and all of our hard-working cantors.
Special thanks to our Easter musicians: John
Halko, Jerry Makeever, Sara Herdina, and Karla
Vandersloot.
Also, special thanks to these generous volunteers
who helped in many ways: Cathy Burnham,
