INVITATION U14 MILLENNIUM CUP
STAVANGER 14-16th of MARCH 2014
Stavanger Hockey and Stavanger Oilers is proud to invite you to Norway's largest
U14 tournament.
New this season is that teams can sign up for various skill levels - Level 1 and Level
2. This to achieve even better matching. Matches is played 2x18 and with 6 games
per team it provides a lot of activity on ice. We uses three referees system.
This year the tournament will take place on three rinks, all within the same new
complex providing the best of facilities. DNB Arena is our main arena which is
hosting the Norwegian champions. We are working with a fourth rink as well.
The tournament offers great hockey experiences where you get to meet people with
common interests from different parts of Norway as well as foreign teams. Off ice,
we continue the success of the evening event on Saturday and a Coach
gathering/small seminar.
For the 2014 tournament we will most likely limit the number of teams to 22-24, so
flag your interest as soon as possible.
We welcome you all to Stavanger, and will
do our outmost to make Millennium Cup a
tournament to remember.

For your information: Millennium Cup for U13 (born 2001) will be held 31/1-2/2-2014
Age group: U14 / Born 2000
Game days: From Friday March 14th approx. 2PM
to Sunday March 6th 4PM. We will adjust start point
for teams dependent upon arrivals.
The tournament is acknowledged by the Norwegian
Hockey Federation and are played according to their
rules for the age group.
Number of matches: Minimum 6
Lenght of matches: 2x18 min
Ice rinks: DNB Arena (main arena) &
Stavanger Ishall 1 and 2 (+ maybe a 4th rink)
Prizes: All players receive tournament diploma,
tournament shirt plus some additional surprises.
Challenge trophy for the winners, team trophies for
team no. 1, 2 and 3. Players trophy for team 1-4.
Fairplay trophy for team with fewest penalty
minutes.
Lodging: We have great deals on hotels for 2, 3 and
4 person rooms. School accommodation is also
available.

Hotel are both within walking distance to the
arenaes. Rooms should be reserved directly with the
hotels. The special offers are limited and provided
on a first come first serve basis, and are also
available for supporters.

Transportation: If you arrive with plane, ferry or
train, we will offer transportation with bus.
Meals: All meals will take place in the
restauranten in DNB Arena.
Meals included:
Dinner/hot meal on Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner
Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
Social event Saturday (disco):
There will be arranged a hockey-party or other
activites in the evening including pizza
Participation fee each player:
NOK 800 tournament, lodging, meals and hockey-party

Participation fee:
NOK 3000 per team. Includes participation for 3
coaches.
Registration date:
As soon as possible. Teams will be prioritized after the
order they sign up. There will possibly be a limit at 2224 teams on this seasons tournament.
