INVITATION OILERS MILLENNIUM CUP
STAVANGER 31th of JANUARY -2nd of FEBRUARY 2014
Stavanger Hockey and Stavanger Oilers would like to invite you to Norway's largest
U13 tournament.
The previous three tournaments have followed kids born in year 2000, but from
2014 it becomes a yearly U13 tournament by Stavanger Hockey. Besides
stimulating hockey experience on ice, you will meet teams from all over Norway and
hopefully also some other foreign teams - it is always fun to expand the “hockey
family”. Last year we were 22 teams, 14 Norwegian and 8 foreign from 5 different
nations.
This year the tournament will take place on three rinks, all within the same new
complex providing the best of facilities. DNB Arena, is our main arena where
Stavanger Oilers play their home games (Norwegian champions) and it has also
hosted games for Norway's National ice hockey Team.
For the 2014 tournament we would have to limit number of teams to 20, so flag your
interest as soon as possible.
We welcome you all to Stavanger, and will
do our outmost to make Millennium Cup a
tournament to remember.

Age group: U13 / Born 2001
Game days: From Friday 4PM to Sunday 4PM. We
will adjust start point for teams dependent upon
arrival with bus, train, plain or ferry.
The tournament is acknowledged by the Norwegian
Hockey Federation and are played according to their
rules for the age group.
Number of matches: Minimum 6
Lenght of matches: 2x15 min, max 50 min/match
Ice rinks: The new DNB Arena (main arena) &
new youth arenaes 1 and 2.
Prizes: All players receive tournament diploma,
tournament shirt plus some additional surprises.
Challenge trophy for the winners, team trophies for
team no. 1, 2 and 3. Players trophy for team 1-4.
Fairplay trophy for team with fewest penalty
minutes.
Lodging: Lodging will be offered in a school nearby
the arena including security services.

Hotel have some special offers for the tournament.
Both hotels are within walking distance to the
arenaes. Rooms should be reserved directly with the
hotels. The special offers are limited and provided
on a first come first serve basis, and are also
available for supporters.

Participation fee each player:
NOK 700 tournament, lodging, food and hockey-party

Participation fee:
NOK 2800 per team. Includes participation for 3
coaches.
Registration date:
As soon as possible. Teams will be prioritized after the
order they sign up. There will be a limit at 20 teams on
this seasons tournament.
