Vågsbygd Swimming and Life Saving Club and Varodd Swimming Club are proud to
invite you to the competition at our superb 50m swimming complex in Kristiansand.
This is the second Aquarama Open and we promise a great event that will provide
wonderful experiences for the athletes, coaches and team managers alike.
Aquarama is in the centre of town; right beside the city beach and a short distance
from hotels. Kristiansand is well connected by rail, sea, air and road.
The complex has 10 lanes with Omega touchpad timing. Touchpads provide
electronic timing and the events can be followed live on www.livetiming.no

Aquarama has seating for approximately 700 spectators
There are the facilities to warm up in a heated pool, where the water temperature is
approximately 27 degrees ,and there is access to a training hall.
The competition is organized in accordance with the current Norwegian swimming
authorities’ rules and regulations

the 50, 100 & 200m events.
Entry fee
100 NOK,- per. competitor event.
200 NOK,- per. team event.
Late entries in vacant lanes accepted,
entry fee is double and must be paid in
cash to the event secretary.
The entry fee, hotel and food paid into
account number 3000.27.03560. Please
mark clearly with AQ Open “club name”.
Payment for overnight stays and food
must be paid by 9th May and the entry
fee by 21st May.

There will be sandwiches with 2 types of cheese, 3 types of meat, liver pate, 3 kinds
of jam, scrambled-egg, boiled eggs, 2 types of mayonnaise salad, 2 types of fish,
tomato, cucumber, lettuce, peppers & dressings.

We have booked both hotels for the competition. June is a busy time in Kristiansand
and there can be issues with hotel spaces.
