Changes & Opportunities
With summer break half over and back to school shopping beginning, LNMOM
starts a new fiscal year. It is time again to renew our memberships. I hope you can
consider this last year and remember all you’ve gained as a member of this organization. Between support, parenting advice, the equipment & clothing sales, socializing (with and without our children), and more - this group of moms has so much to
offer. I hope you continue to be a part of our wonderful group!
Peapod Particulars
A Newsletter for the Lake Norman Mothers of Multiples
Please take note of the membership and sale information under Club Business of
this newsletter. An announcement about the sale is also on our newly redesigned
website. ( Thanks Jessica for your hard work and members for your valued input.)
In order to facilitate LNMOM being independent, the new sale coordinators and
board have promoted some changes in the equipment & clothing sale starting this
Fall. As discussed at the July meeting and included in the Sales Talk newsletter, we
will ask for a $5.00 seller fee, to be subtracted from said seller’s profit. The fee is a
result of rental rate increases for the facility and rack related fees. This money will
be spent to ensure that we continue to offer members a quality event at which to
exchange goods. By making our club 100% independent, we also intend to continue
to be able to meet the founding purposes of LNMOM. This includes community outreach as well as member support. There will be more information on the sale at the
August meeting. As always if you have any questions or concerns about this or other
issues, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks!

“Tools that RULE for Back to School”
LNMOM is working with area schools to collect back to school items for children in need. Suggested items of need are book bags, crayons, pencils,
notebooks, scissors, glue sticks, markers, pencil boxes, folders, paper, colored pencils, erasers, and highlighters. Back to school can be tough on us
all, but purchase some extra things if you can and donate them to children
who may not have the tools needed to start a new school year. There are a
lot of great sales out, so grab the bargains for yourself and help a child in
need.
New Members
We will collect items at our August and September’s monthly meetings and
other upcoming club events. For more details please contact Rhonda
Zavodny or Kim Webster. (Contact information listed on previous page.)
