A WORD FROM THE EDITOR
Rich, golden, romantic... Autumn brings along inspiration and new ideas. We need to let into
it and allow it to inspire us. We are presenting the luxurious guest house in the treetops, an
exclusive penthouse in Moscow, glasses signed by the famous designer Karl Lagerfeld, and
many more interesting stories in the November issue... tuck in, and let’s go...
LUXURIOUS
COMFORT

TREETOPS
Despite the Casey Key Guest House’s rugged
wooden exterior, there is something almost futuristic
about its curvaceous design. In fact, it has a bit of
a neo-retro look to it, as though this is what the
designers in the 1970s would have imagined the
future to look like…

MILANO
A RICH TRADITION
IN EXCELLENCE
From the very beginning, the Hotel Principe di
Savoia has been a classy contradiction in terms symbolising gracious living for a clientele focused
on business, offering the traditional hospitality of a
grand resort in an unapologetically urban setting,
hosting captains of industry, counts of nobility and
cultural icons with equal aplomb.

GREEN
BISTRO
In a time when we are too busy and always on the
run, bistros have become a solution adopted by
most people. According to the preferences, you
can choose a more traditional bistro or a modern
one, from the wide range of places. For example,
the Green Bistro in Germany seems to be a very
good option…

SAAR RIESLING
2009
Riesling and, especially German Riesling is very much back in
demand in the world’s top wine markets. Natural acidity and
laser-like minerality bestowed by a frigid clime and steep slate
vineyards, can balance the rich palate weight and delineated power
of contemporary styles. The stereotype that German wines are all
but dainty and sweet, has been dashed by a new vanguard of
producers among whom, leading the pack, is van volxem.

the help of low yields averaging 33 hl/ha, emerge
finely textured, fruity, and elegant wines showing
a clear strong terroir profile, and ageing potential.
From the early days pristine genetic material of
mostly ungrafted vines is used. Labour-intensive
growing work including organic and biodynamic
growing methods, low yields of small berries, and
highly-selective hand harvesting were important to
theowner.
