The student
affiliate chapter was established to provide the chemistry
majors the opportunity to meet and plan activities that would expose
them to the different career opportunities in chemistry. Such an orga-

STUDENT PUBLICATION
Greetings:
Fellow students and all others that have had the the priviler ge of
viewing an annual for the 1985-86 school year.
I hope that you have enjoyed the glorious pages of this year's annual.
enjoyed putting the book together. However, I experienced one of the
most prevalent problems here at Savannah State College - STUDENT APATHY.
I
As you turned the pages, did you stop to think about the amount of
time and effort that goes into the creation of OUR yearbook? Chances are
some of you probably did not. You as S.S.C. students had better start
thinking. The annual is supposed to be a STUDENT PUBLICATION.
Student as
Yet
in
the student body not student as in individual (s)
the majority of the student body wants a yearbook and want it on time.
.
,
In closing, I would
like to say that you as students should get involved, because this could very well be OUR last yearbook.
Very truly yours,
Valerie M. Andrews
