A disciple is a growing follower of Christ, who is learning
and applying the truth of the Word, leading to greater intimacy with God, thus resulting in life change. There are five
unmistakable marks of a disciple. A disciple is one who:
abides in the word, dies to self-will, loves as Jesus loves,
abides in Christ and bears fruit that remains.
Our women’s ministry is dedicated to walking alongside
other women in their journey to become a mature follower of Christ, willing to do whatever it takes to further God's
Kingdom.
July 18—Mission Outreach Day
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to
obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always,

Women on mission
Where does your heart beat for missions? WOM is ongoing
missions involvement and learning that extends across the
globe. Missions opportunities, learning materials and many free
resources have been created to help women develop a missions
lifestyle. As a part of Women on Mission, ladies have the opportunity to participate in missions and ministries that enable
them to experience a variety of ways to serve Christ.
Ultimately, the purpose of all Women on Mission activities is
that every person have the opportunity to hear and respond to
the gospel. See calendar for more details on WOM and what
God is doing in and through the missionaries that we support .
October 2-4 (2 nights)
Georgia Mountain Retreat
We will be leaving the church at 7:30
a.m. to head to the North Georgia
mountains. The retreat will include:
Priscilla Shirer’s study titled Breathe:
Making Room for Sabbath, time in
prayer and God’s word, shopping and
church at FBC Woodstock on Sunday.
The cost will range between $50-75
pp (cost of room only). Signup sheet
can be found in the church foyer.

Local Retreat—Nobleton, Florida
The retreat will include: Priscilla
Shirer’s study titled Breathe: Making
Room for Sabbath, time in prayer and
God’s word, and fun and games. You
may choose to stay over night at $50
pp (includes overnight stay + 4 meals)
or join us for the bible study and
meals only for $25 pp (includes 4
meals). Signup sheet can be found in
the church foyer.
