Protests
If written protests are received from
affected business owners that equate to
50% or more of the assessments, no
further proceedings to approve the
assessment can be taken for a period of
one year. Business owners may make an
oral protest at the public hearing if they
have not already filed a written protest.

 1992: HB Auto Dealers Association BID formed
to operate and maintain the electronic reader
board sign and promote HB dealerships.
 During Fiscal Year 2015-2016, the Auto Dealers
continued its efforts to promote its members’
businesses through the reader board and the
newly-relocated Beach Boulevard of Cars Store.
