worked tirelessly and graciously in preparation for the evening. We

1. All sales are FINAL. No REFUNDS.
2. The Wyndcroft School will not be responsible for
unclaimed purchases left at The Wyndcroft School.
3. The Wyndcroft School will not be responsible for
personal belongings. We ask that you guard your
valuables.
4. This is an auction with certain reserves (minimums).
The seller, or persons on behalf of the seller, may be
bidding upon items sold at the auction. The Auction
Committee reserves the right to bid on items that do
not bring the minimum consignment cost.
5. The Wyndcroft School requires that all winning bids
be paid in full on April 30, 2016. Payment may be
made by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. Checks are
to be made payable to The Wyndcroft School.
6.
The Auction Committee has endeavored to
catalogue and describe the items and services
correctly, and everything is sold “as is.” Certain
auction items/services may have restrictive use or
qualifications, which may affect the value or use to the
bidder. Terms set forth are non-negotiable.

bidding number high to attract the auctioneer’s
attention. This must be repeated each time you
initiate or increase a bid. Each bid legally obligates
the bidder to pay his/her bid price in full if his/her

auctioneer’s hammer. If you wish, you may wait
until the end of the evening and pay for all of your
purchases at once.
4. The high bidder will be acknowledged by the
auctioneer. If the auctioneer determines that an
opening bid or any subsequent bid is not
commensurate with the value of the item offered, he
may reject the same and withdraw the item from the
sale. The auctioneer reserves the right to announce
conditions of sale during the auction. In the event of
any dispute, the auctioneer will have the sole and
final discretion.

Hermes Scarf 'Casse Noisette' by Antoine De Jacquelot
The history of Hermes scarves is a story of luxury. The name Hermes is synonymous with luxury. It
really is the best of the best. The first Hermes scarf, Jeu des Ombinus et Dames Blanches (Omnibus
Game and White Ladies), was introduced in 1937. The design was based on a woodblock drawing by
Robert Dumas, who was a member of the Hermes family. From start to finish, the Hermes scarf is
renowned for its attention to detail and quality. The raw silk was bought from China, spun it into yarn,
woven into fabric, and screen-printed. Today, Hermes scarves typically measure 90cm x 90cm (36 or so
inches square), and are made from the silk of mulberry moth cocoons. Each edge is hand-rolled and
hand-stitched (a great way to help determine if you have got a fake or genuine example), and one
seamstress will roll and stitch only about seven scarves per day. (it’s about quality and craftsmanship,
not quotas!) This Hermes scarf is titled 'Casse Noisette' (Nutcracker). The artist is Antoine De
Jacquelot. Included is a security tag guaranteeing authenticity.

Easter Egg Hunt - April 8, 2017
This will be the first Annual Wyndcroft Easter Egg Hunt. Registration will be at the Early Learning
Center parking lot at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 8th. Children will line up starting at 10:45 AM at the
designated hunt field at the school. The siren will sound at 11:00 AM sharp to indicate the beginning of
the hunt. Children will hunt and scramble for over 2000 filled plastic eggs with stickers, toys and candy
in the field. Each child will receive a plastic Easter basket and all of the contents of their eggs. There
will be boxes for after the hunt for the empty plastic eggs, which will be recycled for the next year's
hunt. Parents are encouraged to stay for the hunt, which should not last longer than 15 minutes. The

Wyndcroft Firsties are all smart cookies and you can be one too! This adorable cookie jar is carefully
decorated with hand painted cookies made from each child's precious finger prints. This jar comes filled
with the first batch of cookies and baked by our very own Miss Nancy! The children have all shared
their favorite cookie recipe and we had them published into the very first published Wyndcroft's First
Grade Favorite Cookie Recipes Book. It is proudly signed by each child in first grade. What a beautiful
