We are having a fabulous
fall, but winter is just around
the corner! Now is the time
to think about and register
for programs that will keep
you busy and energized this
winter.
Rec Basketball registration
begins November 1st.
Please do not wait until it is
too late to participate. This
year professional training
will be provided for grades 24.
New this winter is a Saturday Basketball program for
girls in 6/7/8 grade. Modeled after our very popular
Friday Night Basketball program, the girls will receive
professional training fol-
lowed by a game. Great for
middle school girls who enjoy playing basketball in
town once a week. No mid
week practices.
Ski Club registration is underway. There are only a
few spaces left on the bus,
and registration ends early.
Please register now if you
are planning to participate.

Holiday Basketball Tournament December 26th-30th.

Sport Squirts introduces children
to a new sport each week. The
emphasis is on safety, fun and
learning. All Sports are presented
in positive and relaxed environment with an emphasis on participation, interaction, and communication.
Soccer Squirts learn the fundamental skills
of soccer through a program of structured
activities, fun based games, and scrimmages. Each Soccer Squirts session focuses on maximizing participation and learning through a variety of fun games designed to stimulate a child's imagination
and develop motor skills.
USSI’s Basketball curriculum is
designed to develop the fundamental aspects of the sport from a
beginner level. The program offers
a wide variety of inclusive games
and activities that will educate
players in a fun and fast paced
environment.

AIS is non competitive and
only charges a $25 fee annually. Players must be 18 years
old & over. High school students accompanied by a participating parent.

Professional training 2-4th grade. Fifth
grade girls will be playing on teams
with 3rd & 4th graders. Boys grades 24 and girls 2-5 will have week day
practices in December. Boys grade 58 will have one week day and a Saturday practice in December. All grades
have a weekday practice & Saturday
game in January and February.

BASKETBALL
Ideal for girls who want to improve their basketball skills in a low pressure,
fun environment. The main focus of this program is to develop a well rounded understanding of the game of basketball through exciting games and
drills. Professional coaches will teach the basic techniques of dribbling, passing, shooting and defense through a series of inclusive group activities. Each
week the last hour will be devoted to small sided, game realistic scrimmages,
allowing each player the chance to showcase newly learned kills during structured team play. Please use the Children’s Registration form to register.

In Person: Mon-Fri stop in the Readington Recreation office located in the
Readington Township municipal building or come to one of the regularly
scheduled registration nights at the Readington Middle School. The municipal
building is open 8:30am-4:30pm Mon.-Fri.

Rutgers SAFETY Clinic
A Requirement for ALL Readington Coaches
A class is scheduled on Wednesday, December 2, at 6:30pm, in room 304 at the Readington Middle
School. You must preregister using the adult registration form on the web site to attend. The class is
free for Readington Recreation coaches, the fee is $40 for coaches from other organizations.
