Jolene & Jon have blocked off rooms for their wedding guests; a limited number are available so please book early
to ensure availability. They would like to encourage all their guests to book with Beach Bum Vacation. You must
book your room directly with Beach Bum Carey to ensure that you will receive the special wedding guest rates.
You will also receive a bonus $250 Resort Credit as a wedding guest (one credit per room), which can be used as
follows: 2 credits valued at $50 each to be applied toward upgraded manager’s list bottles of wine (house wine is
included), 2 spa credits valued at $50 each to be applied toward massages, 1 credit valued at $50 to be applied toward

 If you have frequent flyer miles, credit card points or airline credit vouchers Carey is NOT able to book your flight.
You must do so on your own.
 Determine if you want travel protection. It’s highly recommended! Insurance rates below are based on your total
vacation package value per person.
 CANCEL FOR ANY REASON TRAVEL INSURANCE: The break down is based on the TOTAL cost per person (airfare
& room). This insurance allows you to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund, less the cost of the insurance
itself, back to the original credit card. It only covers trip components booked with Beach Bum Vacation, so if you
book your own airfare, the insurance will not cover it. It also includes a benefit of up to $200 per person for trip
delays, up to $800 per person for lost/stolen/damaged baggage/belongings, up to $100 for baggage delays, up to
$25,000 for emergency medical evacuation, up to $10,000 for accidental or sickness medical expenses.
 TRAVEL INSURANCE: The break down is based on the TOTAL cost per person (airfare & room)

 After the down payment is made the final balance is due January 15, 2016. NO EXCEPTIONS
 Once you place your reservation and your payment has been applied you will receive a confirmation
invoice/itinerary for your trip!

When should I book?: As soon as possible for the best flight schedules and perks for being a part of Jolene & Jon’s
wedding group! This resort is small & it does sell out.
*IMPORTANT! -- Airfare WILL fluctuate depending on availability at time you make your reservation, please make
your payment with Carey as soon as possible to ensure the lowest rate and best flight time options.
Who should I ask for when making my reservation? All reservations must be made directly through Carey at Beach
Bum Vacation. www.beachbumvacation.com/reservation
Payment policy: In order to guarantee your room the full payment must be received by January 15, 2016. AIRFARE
will be due at the time you are ready to add it to your package. Beach Bum Vacation’s insurance policy will cover
your airfare 100% if booked through Beach Bum Vacation. Airfare booked separately is not covered.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover & Diners Club are also accepted.
Note: Returned checks subject to $30.00 fee.
What travel documents will I need? You will need a valid passport in order to travel to Cancun, no exceptions.
You will need to indicate on the form if you accept or decline TRIP INSURANCE.
PLEASE NOTE: Insurance CANNOT be added after payment is made. Insurance is due at the time of making the
reservation along with the down payment.
Special Needs: Please specify if anyone in your party meets any of the following criteria: (1) holds frequent flyer
miles (2) is hearing or vision impaired (3) has dietary restrictions (4) needs a wheelchair (5) is diabetic (6) is
highly allergic.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Once your reservation is made, the cancellation fee is $150 per person up to January 25, 2016.
From January 26-April 20, the cancellation fee is $225 penalty per person.
From April 21-March 5, the cancellation fee is $275 penalty per person.
From March 6 to departure the cancellation penalty is the full balance of your reservation.
The aforementioned is person or room canceling (so if 1 person within the room cancels these same rules apply for
that person). Regarding Airline tickets – if Beach Bum Vacation booked your tickets - they are 100% not refundable
and subject to individual airline penalties/fees. If optional Cancel for Any Reason insurance is purchased, the
insurance will cover the above penalties & you will receive a full refund for all travel expenses paid to Beach Bum
Vacation, less the cost of the travel insurance itself. Only trip components booked through Beach Bum Vacation are
covered by the insurance.
If you do not have insurance – natural disasters (such as hurricanes), cancellations for ANY reason (medical/personal
emergencies, cancelation of the wedding, etc.) do not relieve them from these penalties. ONLY the Travel Insurance
will help with coverage.
Frequently Asked Questions:
-Currency: USDs are accepted in Riviera Maya so there is no need to exchange your currency.
-Clothing: some restaurants require men to wear long pants, shirt with collar & closed toe shoes.
-Airport: you must arrive at the airport two hours prior to flight departure time.
- Weather: The average temperatures in Riviera Maya during the month of April are in the mid to high 80s. April is
not hurricane season.
-Passport: go to your local post office and request passport forms, instructions will be provided. It takes
approximately 4-6 weeks for processing. Cost is approximately $135/person. You must have a valid passport
BOOK, not a card. Cards are not valid for air travel. Info is available via the State Department:

-Frequent Flyer: in the event you would like to use your frequent flyer miles you will need to contact the airline
directly but make sure you email [email protected] your flight itinerary so she may arrange for your
airport transportation to & from the resort.
-Not Included: Phone calls, gift shop purchases, spa treatments, tours/excursions & motorized water sports are
not included.
