To our new students/parents –
welcome to Fearn Elementary
School, and welcome back to
returning students/parents! We
are looking forward to a
wonderful year with the PTA!
Please do not hesitate to contact any of our
board members with questions, as we are all
happy to help and have the same goal…to
ensure our children have a great year at
Fearn Elementary School!
This year we would like to encourage
everyone to sign up for PTA membership;
although, it is not mandatory to donate
time, we are definitely encouraging it this
year. We would like to see everyone become
an ACTIVE member of the PTA. Together we
can make a difference!
Our first PTA meeting will be
September 13, 6:00pm – 7:00pm.
Meetings will be held the second Tuesday
of each month. We welcome everyone!
Come and listen, provide fresh ideas, join
a committee! We will have a list of
committees we need filled for this year.
If you have time please consider
volunteering. Our deadline for committee
heads is September 30, 2016. Without
people to help with the committees we
will have to put activities on hold.

September 15, 2016!

When you join the PTA your donation will
help support the students & staff of Fearn.
Volunteer participation is not required.
Your $7.00 membership helps:
Class Parties, Assemblies, Birthday Books to
EVERY Fearn student on their birthday, and
much more.
VOLUNTEER – EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS
If we can get every Fearn parent to commit
to helping out, we can do amazing things for
our kids and our school. Volunteering can be
as much or a little as you would like.
We are looking for people to chair
committees, volunteer your time at
events or something as simple as cooking
a dish for Teacher Appreciation. We
understand your time is valuable, but so
is your child’s education.
Together, we can make a huge difference
at our school! If you have any questions

It’s a fun, easy program. Please send in
UPCs (not the front label) in bundles of
10. Bundles will make the sorting efforts
much easier.

Coke Rewards
PTA is now collecting coke rewards!
Reward codes are found on the 12, 20
and 24 pack cases and on the lids of
bottles of Coca-Cola products. Please
turn in your unused Coke Rewards to the
office. If you already have a Coke
Rewards account, you can donate your
points online at: mycokerewards.com
CFK (Cartridges for Kids)
This is a simple way to help the
environment and Fearn PTA! Send in
your old cell phone, pda’s, and
ink/laser cartridges to the school office
and we’ll make sure the item gets
recycled! Cartridges for Kids will help
keep those items out of landfills and
will mail a check to Fearn’s PTA.

The PTA actively works to provide Fearn students with
activities and opportunities that enrich their elementary
school experience.
The PTA proudly supports: The Back-to-School Bash; Pennies for Loose
Change Drive; Fearnapalooza Talent Show; Family Fun Night;
Father/Daughter & Mother/Son events; Fine Arts Week; Fun Fair; 5th Grade
Graduation and more. The PTA provides money for snacks/supplies for
parties, school-wide assemblies, a book for every child on their
birthday/half-birthday, as well as, host teacher appreciation events
throughout the year to thank teachers and staff for everything they do for
the students of Fearn Elementary. The PTA also pays for insurance to
ensure that everyone is safe during sponsored events. We strive to provide
financial resources for the school whenever possible.
PTA revenue comes from fundraising activities and membership dues.
