TUESDAY & THURSDAY
7:30am
It’s already March! I can’t believe how
quickly the days seem to fly by!
Have you heard we are launching Linked
Bingo here at the Center on Tuesday nights?
March 1st is our grand opening and to
celebrate we will provide a Taco Tuesday
meal included with your Bingo buy-in! Being
that we are playing with multiple sites &
combining our “buy-in” power, this produces
BIGGER payouts. Now, who doesn’t want
BIGGER payouts?! An example of such is a
progressive payout up to $1199 – WOW! I
would be remiss in not mentioning that by
playing here along with your friends &
family (18 years & older) you are helping
support JGF and the many programs we offer
too! I hope you’re as enthusiastic as we are
and will come and enjoy the festivities of our
Opening Night and every Tuesday Night
Bingo!
Did you miss this year’s 16th Annual Black
History Program & Celebration? Everyone
has been talking about how this event had
such magnificent music, dialog and history!
It definitely was a wonderful treat to be had,
and I’m not just talking about the delicious
food! Thank you to everyone on the event
planning committee who worked so very
hard to put this program together and made it
such a success. I can truly say that you don’t
want to miss this event next year as it
continues to get better and better every year!
If taxes are on your mind, AARP is once
again sponsoring the Tax-Aid Program. This
is a free service for those with low to
moderate incomes. The program is available
at the Center Monday through Friday from
9:00A to 1:00P on a “first come, first serve”
basis. So…make sure to come in early and
take advantage of this free service.
Join us on Saturday, April 16th for our 11th
Annual Senior Salute! We are excited about
this year’s gala “SUPERFOXY”! The
Golden Age of Comic Books, music &
sounds of the 1940’s will be celebrated, so
grab your mask and cape as all Superheroes
unite at the Landis Performing Arts Center on
the campus of Riverside City College. Would
you like to attend? We would love to see you
there! NEW this year, Goeske members will
receive a complimentary general admission
reservation and Lifetime members will
receive 2 complimentary general admissions
to bring a friend! See a staff member and
make your reservation today! Not to mention
other reservations are available for purchase,
see our monthly Pacesetter or go online to our
website (www.jgf4seniors.org) for more
information.
We have a fabulous month planned with
activities and programming, so be sure to
check in with us throughout the month for all
of the wonderful offerings! We have a lot of
fun here at the Center so why not join us! I’m
sure you will agree that the Center is the place
to be. Hope to see you soon.
Warmest regards,
Judith Vails
