You will learn about washes, how to handle your brush and other

design and composition and how to simplify the successful completion

Explore skills for drawing the human form. Learn the craft of drawing

A figurative study workshop for 3D and 2D artists. Beginners are welcome!
This is a 2 evening workshop that allows you opportunity to study and
sculpt from a live model. In the first evening: construct a simple wire
armature that will support the sculpture (just like our bones support
our bodies). The second: sculpting with a model. Using oil based clay,
perfect for study and suitable for casting in bronze. Concentration on
form, gesture and creating energy.

How to Draw the Face and Head

Learn the basic techniques and principles of Portrait Drawing in
this 2 day workshop. Drawing of the head structure, proportions
and anatomy will be discussed and demonstrated. Working from
observation, students will create both quick sketches and one or more
finished drawings. The finished drawing will encompass both the
structure and proportions of the head as well as development of light
and shade through value and shading techniques.

Handbound Books—The Next Step

make hand decorated paper during the first session. Then incorporate
