The leaves are changing, it’s getting cooler and the kids are all adjusting to the school year. The
hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season is approaching quickly. Time is just flying by and the PTA
has been having tons of fun!! I hope that your children enjoyed the many activities that were hosted
by the PTA in October. We couldn’t do the activities that we do without the help of all the PTA
members. I just want to thank you all for your time, dedication and love for our students and staff
at Conway Elementary.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I would like to thank all the parents that helped out at the Halloween
parties and parade. Thank you to all the families that came out to support Conway PTA at our “dine
and donates” and at the Monster Mash! Thank you to the volunteers that come to the school and
help our teachers and staff with copying and lending a helping hand in the classroom! You are all
such a great group of families and we are thankful for each of you!!! I also would also like to thank
the PTA board members that put their heart and soul into these kids! I cannot thank you enough
for all that your hard work and dedication! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL
Intramural Basketball was a huge success this
year! We enjoyed watching the children learn
and improve on their basketball skills each
week. Special thanks to Doug Falk, Shannon
Sanders, Roxanne Battaglia, Amanda Lundy and
Dave Benson. We appreciate you volunteering
your time to help out. We look forward to
continuing this program next year!

Congratulations to everyone
who has participated in Book It
for the month of October.
For your efforts you will be awarded a free personal pan pizza from
Pizza Hut and be entered in the drawing for a trip to Uncle Joe's
Candy Buffet! Uncle Joe's was very generous to donate this award for
our raffle for all 6 months of the Book It program. Remember if you
participate 4 of the 6 months the PTA will also
award you a book at the End of Year Party!!

We are looking for parent volunteers to help us make
our Santa Shop a success. There are four shifts and you
can work one shift or all four –any help is greatly appreciated! Please look for a parent volunteer slip to come
home soon.
We are collecting supplies to wrap the special gifts that
the children purchase. We are in need of the following
items: Gift Tags, Name Tags, Bows and wrapping paper
There will be a collection box inside the lobby of the main entrance.
If you could donate any of the above mentioned items,
that would help the PTA, as The Santa Shop is NOT a
fundraiser. Thank you to everyone that is helping to
make our Santa Shop a success!!
