programs
Productions and educational workshops: Footlite Musicals is the longest
continually operating community theater in Indianapolis. It offers year-round activity
with seven productions including four full-scale Broadway musicals, a winter cabaret
show and two summer young-artists productions. A summer workshop for children
ages 6-12 provides an opportunity to study with accomplished performers and
culminates in the production of a fully staged musical. Footlite’s 60th anniversary
season begins July 10 with the young-adult production of “West Side Story.”
fundraiser
Footlite’s “Hedback to the Future Campaign” raised over $1.2 million in 2014.
A Diamond Jubilee dinner and silent auction will be held on Sept. 12.
