This in depth training and enrichment series is an opportunity for
staff and volunteers to focus on bereavement support in the parish
setting.

Reporte de La Noche de Liderazgo
Consejo Pastoral
Formación
El Consejo debatió la participación en el festival de la
parroquia. La comisión de Comunidad coordinará un
puesto que representa el Liderazgo de La Santísima
Trinidad, de manera que todos podrán conseguir y
obtener más información sobre la nueva estructura de
liderazgo y oportunidades de voluntariado.
Estudio de la Biblia – la comisión continuó revisando los
programas de estudio de la Biblia y están por decidir
entre 2 opciones. La decisión se tomará en la reunión de
La Noche de Liderazgo de Agosto.
La comisión discutió maneras de reclutar para los
asistentes de estudio biblico y facilitadores. El Siguiente
paso es planificar e implementar el reclutamiento de
facilitadores para el Estudio de la Biblia.
El Consejo ha completado el proceso de discernimiento
para seleccionar los 2 copresidentes para el próximo año.

Leadership Night Report
Pastoral Council
Formation
The council discussed participation in the parish
festival. The Community commission will coordinate
a booth representing MHT Leadership, so that any
parishioner can come by and get more information
about the new leadership structure and volunteer
opportunities.
Bible Study – the commission continued to review
bible study programs and are down to deciding
between 2 options. Decision will be made at the
August Leadership Night meeting.
The commission discussed ways to recruit for bible
study attendees and facilitators. Next Step is to plan
and implement recruitment for Bible Study facilitators.
The council completed the discernment process to
select the 2 co-chairs for the coming year.
Outreach
The commission selected their 2nd Co-Chair Tita Marte
to serve along with Aurora Solis.

Parish Census – the commission discussed how the
census forms and letter will be publicized throughout
the parish. Expected launch date for the project is Oct.
2015.
Liturgy Planning Committee – they held their first
committee meeting on July 7th to discuss the vision of
the committee. The commission continues to discuss
the role of a committee member. The next meeting will
be August 4th at 7pm.
Communication – the commission discussed possible
action items on creating better communication within
the parish.

LATINAS CONTRA EL CÁNCER
Latinos make up 15% of the population with almost one
third of them uninsured. They are almost 3 times less likely
to have a consistent source of medical care.
Los latinos constituyen el 15% de la población y casi un
tercio de ellos no tienen seguro. Con casi 3 veces menos
probabilidades de tener una fuente constante de la atención
médica.
Esto conduce a un diagnóstico y tratamiento más tarde, los

This leads to later diagnosis and treatment, poorer health

Latinas Contra Cancer works with Latino Patients and
Families, Agencies and Institutions around issues of cancer
education and support with the mission of increasing
awareness and access to care. Their services include:
