Aho
Debbi Thyne
120cm x 90cm

Medium Acrylic & screenprint on canvas
Aho are interwoven threads. They refer to the collective strength of
diversity, suggesting unity in tension. I have juxtaposed the
mechanical sureness of my aho motif with gestural, discordant colour
across a grid that contains and releases painterly control. The grid
itself comprises aho, modernist and cultural threads that converge
in paint.
