Celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Ferrari Club of America with a
commemorative FCA watch. This beautiful chronograph, manufactured in
Switzerland by a top watchmaker to our exact specifications, uses a Valjoux 7750 movement.
Choose between our deluxe 18k gold plated stainless steel case or the top of the line edition
with a case of solid 18k gold. The deluxe version is limited to just 250 copies. The
ultra exclusive solid gold version is limited to just six examples. Both models
feature a luxurious black leather wrist band with contrasting red stitching.
Each individually serial numbered chronograph will arrive in its own
presentation case with an owner’s manual, a one-year warranty,
and an extra brown alligator wrist band. The price, including
shipping, is $1,299 for the deluxe 18k gold plated model
or $10,500 for the solid 18k gold version.
Our ordering deadline has been extended until August 2013. Production will
commence once we have sufficient orders. Full payment, required in advance,
will be held in an escrow account and, should we not receive sufficient orders,
your money will be refunded. Payment may be made only by check or money

Jul 11-14. 50th Anniversary Weekend. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of
the FCA when the 599 Relay Car comes to our region for a weekend of festivities, including the annual concours. A series of opportunities will be
organized over the 4 days to give the members a cause for celebration.

Jul 14. Annual Regional Concours. Join us for a fun, casual “People’s
Choice” voting as we celebrate this year;s concours in conjunction with

Aug 16-18. Rodney’s Weekend. As in previous years we are planning to
visit places of local or historic interest in Ontario (or possibly upper NY
state or Quebec), driving mainly on scenic routes, and with a focus on
relaxation, and the opportunity to socialize with other FCA members.

Aug 24-25. Marques d’Elegance Exotic Car Weekend. Saturday Street Fest
in Burlington. Sunday’s Concours at the beautiful Paletta Mansion on Lake
Ontario includes awards, gourmet breakfast and lunch for drivers at the

Sep 8. Shad’s Summer Run. Join us for a super day exploring the curvy
roads of Caledon and Halton Hills north of the city. Departure point will
be close to King City with the drive broken into two parts. Following our
rest stop, we continue on to our final destination for a delicious meal.

Sep 29. Europa Rally. Traditionally an informal, “non-mathematical” funoriented rally in and around the Toronto area. It’s set up so that any member can enter, no calculator or slide rule is required. All you need is a pencil, car, driver and navigator. The entire rally is spent on paved roadways,
and all clues are visible from inside the car. (If you’re paying attention).
Oct 20. Wine Tour and Luncheon at a winery in the Niagara area. Meet at
a Tim Hortons for coffee and bagels and head out for an exhilarating drive
on back roads to a winery of choice, a selection of wines and a tour. Info:

Annual Spring Thaw

Once again this very popular event will be held at Clydes located
right next to the Pavilion! Registered participants can park in front
of the gorgeous Mercury Fountain, in the Pavilion, and on Market
Street – reserved just for Ferraris and other exotics. This year the
one of a kind FCA 50th Anniversary Ferrari 599 HGTE will be on
display at the event.
Starting at 12:00 pm, Clyde’s of Reston will provide a cash bar
and appetizers for guests to enjoy while socializing around the cars
on Market Street. Lunch begins at 2:00 pm. Great food, door
prizes and Ferrari surprises! The cost: $50 per person. Your check
is your reservation (payable to FCA-MAR) and must arrive by April

UPCOMING VOTE ON REVISIONS TO THE
BYLAWS OF THE FERRARI CLUB OF AMERICA
Significant revisions and updates to the Bylaws of FCA are being
proposed and will be submitted for the approval of the FCA membership. The final draft of the proposed revisions is to be reviewed
and finalized by the FCA Board of Directors on March 3, 2013 after
which a vote of the General Membership will be held to approve the
revised bylaws.
A copy of the revised bylaws, highlighting the proposed changes,
will be sent by email to every eligible FCA member with an email
address on file in the Club’s database. As well, these members will
be notified by email of the opportunity to cast their vote in favor or
opposed to the revisions using the FCA’s electronic voting system.
It is every FCA member’s individual responsibility to ensure that
the FCA has their valid email address on file. Those FCA members
who are unable to receive communication by email and unable to
connect to the Club’s website in order to vote electronically may
request a paper copy of the revisions along with a paper (mail-in)
ballot, by contacting the Executive Director by telephone or mail

Car visits Ronald McDonald Houses in Manhattan in the late morning. We
drive to Long Island in the afternoon for a reception and fundraiser at
Ferrari of Long Island.
Apr 28. Annual Spring Rally & Lunch. Join the FCA 50th Anniversary Relay
Car for a breakfast reception at Wide World Ferrari Maserati in Rockland
County, which will also be the starting point of our Spring Rally. The Rally

and stretch her legs. We meet at Sam’s Club parking lot off of Airport Road

Mar 23. 10am. A morning tour of the Collier Museum. One of the most
impressive collections in the world of important cars is housed in our little town. This is a motorhead’s dream tour. With a sporting focus on racing cars, especially Porsches, the Collier Collection is one of the most significant collections anywhere. You don’t want to miss this tour!
Apr 4. 6pm. Evening at the Capital Grille. Always a favorite for our Naples
members we are returning to the Capital Grille. Hors d’ouvres and wine are
on the house from 6-7pm. Dinner reservations will be made directly with
the restaurant, 254-0640.
Apr 7. Car Show and Wine Auction at Quail West. New for our club this show
in prestigious Quail West benefitting the Multiple Sclerosis Center of
Southwest Florida. The evening will begin at 5:30 with a wine tasting and
display of the Ferraris. The event then progresses to a silent auction,
gourmet dinner, and live auction accompanied with entertainment.
May 16. 6pm. Dinner at Flemings. It has been a few years since our club
has gotten together at Flemings. This famous steakhouse offers fine dining in a casual atmosphere.
Jun 13. 6pm. Wine Tasting and Dinner at Bleu Provence. Jacques and
Lysielle invite you to join them for an elegant and relaxing evening at the
premier French restaurant in the area. They count their patrons more as
welcome guests than customers, and you will see that expressed not only
in the wine selection and menu, but also in the level of service.
Aug 16-18. Ferraris at the Biltmore. Another fabulous weekend in the
mountains of North Carolina. Featuring excellent accommodations at the
Biltmore Inn, fine dining, entertainment on the Biltmore grounds, and
spirited driving in the mountains. Our Naples Chapter will pay ½ the cost
of shipping chapter member’s car. Limited to the 1st 10 cars/members.
Dec 5-8. Ferraris at Ocean Reef Club. Back by popular demand we plan on
traveling to Key Largo for a weekend of fun at the Ocean Reef Club. This
year we were able to secure the Vintage weekend at the ORC. Vintage
automobiles, boats and airplanes highlight this fantastic event weekend.

Plantation Tour

We’re visiting 50 cities in 50 weeks to celebrate our 50th
anniversary. The fun has already begun, and we’d love to
see you somewhere along the way! For all route and local

The second installment of the Virginia Historic Plantation Tour will take you
to two Historic James River plantations (circa 1600s) along the famed
“Plantation Highway”. Limited to just 20 cars, the tour starts at 9 am from
the full service auto gas station at the Intersection of I-295 and VA Rt#5
near Varina, VA (Exit #22A).
After driving to one plantation and a James River crossing aboard the
Ferrari friendly Jamestown Ferry (no cost), lunch awaits you at the
acclaimed Surrey House Restaurant followed by a visit to the second plantation. Afterwards, another scenic route guides you to the New Kent Winery
for a final respite.
Cost is $15.00 per person for admission charges and lunch is individually
paid for. Checks, made out to FCA-MAR must be mailed to Joe Fortner, 241
Four Islands Tr, Lanexa, VA by April 20th. Please include your email
