ABUNDANT PEACE AIKIDO is pleased to present JOSH DRACHMAN SENSEI June 12 to 14, 2015 Josh Drachman Sensei began his Aikido studies in 1982 under the direct instruction of Mitsugi Saotome and currently holds the rank of 6th Dan in Aikido. Sensei is the assistant chief instructor at Aikido Eastside in Seattle Washington. Drachman Sensei is a member of Saotome Sensei's Ueshiba Juke. This connotes a direct line of "transmission" to the Aikido Founder, Morihei Ueshiba, through Saotome Sensei to his personally trained students. Sensei also trained at the Hombu Dojo in Tokyo from, 1985 to 1991. In addition to his study of Aikido, Drachman Sensei holds the rank of Yudansha in both Shindo Ryu and Shotokan Karate and Yudansha in Daito Ryu Aikijujitsu. He is also a student of classical Japanese sword and studies internal power training under Dan Harden. This is Drachman Sensei's first seminar at Abundant Peace. The theme of the seminar will be Internal principles applied to empty-hand techniques and weapons.
