Under the patronage of
It is our pleasure to invite you to 17th ADRIA CAMPING RALLY at
camping Èikat in Mali Lošinj, on the island of Lošinj, which will take place
from 25 June to 02 July 2016.
This year Croatian Camping Association in collaboration with Jadranka
camping will take you to biggest town on Croatian islands – Mali Lošinj. Mali
Lošinj is located on the island of Lošinj which is most known as Island of vitality with
its hundred years old pine trees, lavender, myrtle and bougainvillea among
1018 other plant species. Island of Lošinj also has numerous natural, cultural and
historical sites and events.
Town of Mali Lošinj, located 20 minutes of walking distance from the campsite
Èikat, is known for its maritime and shipbuilding history until it started to develop
as tourist destination which is today. All of that is due to the fact that island of
Lošinj was in 1892 declared a natural climate resort. It is scientifically proven that
a stay of 21 days on the island improves breathing capabilities.
Campsite Èikat, located in Èikat bay and gently united with hundred years old
pine forest, offers its guests opportunity for peace and relaxation next to the
crystal clear Adriatic sea. Campsite is an ideal location for an active family
vacation that can enjoy in numerous sporting facilities, kilometres of walking
paths and a new Aquapark Èikat (5 pools, slides, attractions, health snack bar,
pool bar etc.). Besides that guests can always go for proven sun and sea
vacation on a 2 km long rocky and pebble beach.

EXCURSIONS
Excursion 1 - A trip to the island of Susak or Ilovik
30,- EUR
· departure at 9.30 am from the bay Èikat (10 min away by foot)
· arrival on the island of Susak / Ilovik at 10.30 am. Welcome drink on board.
While sailing live music (harmonica) for entertainment
· a guided tour of the island Susak/Ilovik (cca 45 mins.). Alternatively,
depending on the weather, possibility of swimming on the island
· Lunch on board 1.00 pm. Possibility of fish or meat menu. After lunch free time.
Fish menu - mackerel, salad, bread, wine, mineral water, juice
Meat menu - steak, salad, bread, wine, mineral water, juice
Number of fish and meat menus should be registred at least one day in
advance.
· Departure from the island Susak/Ilovik is approximately 3.30 pm or 4.00 pm
· Return to the bay Èikat at 4.30 pm / 5.00 pm.
Excursion 2 - Tour of Mali Lošinj and Veli Lošinj

· Departure from campsite with a bus drive to Veli Lošinj and guided tour of
the town
· After a tour in Veli Lošinj, bus drive to Mali Losinj lasting 10 minutes. After
sightseeing free time for coffee, cakes, souvenir shops
· After returning to campsite free time
Excursion 3 - Sightseeing Osor, Cres and Valun
46,- EUR
Departure from campsite reception at appointed time, meeting with your
tourist guide.
History of islands Cres & Lošinj is recorded in the city that connects the two
islands in Osor - museum town. For over 4000 years history is written in the stone.
Bisjops and kings ruled in this town and today is rightly known as open-air
museum. We will walk through town and get known with its valuable historic
heritage.
We continue our journey along side the lake Vrana, one of the largest
karst phenomena, to the capital of the homonymous island - Cres. We will visit
agricultural cooperative Cres which has its own oil mill. Olive oil is a valuable
product, and is known as the "liquid gold”. We will watch short video film about
olive production on the island of Cres. Degustation of olive olice and possibility
of buying Cres olive oil. A tour of historic and cultural attractions of the city: city
gates, “mandraè”, main square and the parish church. Free time.
Lunch in Cres with well-known Cres lamb on the menu.
After lunch visit to unique place called Valun: picturesque fishing village
famous for its Glagolitic heritage. Right in this place Valunska ploèa
(Valun plate), one of the oldest Glagolitic monuments in Croatia was found.

HOW TO REACH US?
By car from Trieste (Italy): Pasjak – Opatija border crossing – Brestova ferry port –
ferry to Porozine – islands of Cres and Lošinj.
By car from Ljubljana (Slovenia): Rupa – Rijeka border crossing – island of Krk
(crossing the bridge) – Valbiska ferry port – ferry to Merag – islands of Cres and
Lošinj; it is also possible via the Rupa – Rijeka border crossing – Opatija – Brestova
ferry port – ferry to Porozine – islands of Cres and Lošinj.
The ferry ride takes approximately 20 minutes. You will buy the tickets in the port,
they cannot be reserved.
Ferries are modern and with a big and wide ramp so there is no worry while
boarding.
