The Arc Villages and Paradiski Area
Paradiski is now the largest ski area in Europe. Les
Arcs and La Plagne are now joined by a high speed
cable car, The Vanoise Express, which carries 200
people and spans 4km in 4 minutes. There are over
420 kilometres of piste plus exhilerating off piste
ranging from 1200m - 3400m.
Privately owned brand new apartment, beautifully
furnished and well equipped. One en-suite double
bedroom with bath and shower, two twins with
shower room, separate WC and large sofa bed. Underground secure car parking, heated ski lockers and
changing area with direct access onto the piste.
Doorstep ski-ing, close to two major lifts. Two balconies overlooking Mt Blanc. Satellite TV and free
WIFI internet access. The apartments boast a fully
equipped gym, sauna, steam room, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, and a cinema.
They are fully serviced with towels and linen provided. A 24 hour reception offers assistance with
any arrangements. There are shops, bars and restaurants close by. Many activities, on and off the
slopes, are planned each week.
The picturesque tree-lined runs of Plan Peisey are in direct
contrast to the open powder meadows found in 2000 and
1600 and the steep glaciers and gullies from the summits.
An incredible 20-30 min long descent from the Aiguille
Rouge (3226m) to the base at Villaroger (1200m) is a fantastic ski on a sunny morning.
There is ski-ing for all abilities and ages with ski school and
ski or board hire on the doorstep. With a huge variety of
mountain restaurants to choose from and the vast network of
lifts, a different route can be selected each day. Floodlit skiing is also available on 2 evenings each week.
There are 2 glaciers, The Aiguille Rouge and The
Bellecote Glacier in La Plagne, with guarenteed
snow, even in the summer. Les Arcs comprises 4
self-contained linked at different heights. Arc 1800
is the largest village, with a lively atmosphere and
plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Arc 2000 is
popular with experienced skiers, having direct access to the summit. Arc 1600 nestles below the
other two and has a real village atmosphere. Arc
1950 is the newest village built in traditional style,
offering doorstep ski-ing and a high class range of
shops and restaurants. Snow boarding is an ever
more popular activity in Les Arc and the resort
boasts 2 snow parks and half pipes where the more
daring can test their skills.
