This is especially reflected in the increase of our active volunteers: 2012 – 7 volunteers 2013 –12 volunteers 2014 – 22 volunteers and 8 interns These dedicated individuals contributed more than 780 hours of their time on behalf of CJAM. Our paid staff also grew from 1 to 3; 1 full time and 2 quarter time staff members dedicated a total of 4,560 hours, which allowed us to serve more than 300 clients. Because clients increased 19% in 2014, we decided to expand our physical space to include a second mediation room. So in September, we negotiated a discounted lease with our landlord (Jones, McGlasson and Freitag) and now have two mediation rooms for a total of four suites. This additional space will allow us to serve more clients in a timely way. Caroline and Pablo, Marketing & Development Remy, Community Mediation School Mediation CJAM received a call from a middle school in Monroe County Community School Corporation about a case in which they needed our help. They remembered how we were successful in the schools years ago. That call turned into two more requests for mediation. Because of the success we have had in these cases, a Memorandum of Understanding between CJAM and MCCSC is now being negotiated for 2015.
