Responsible for German business
and Chairman of the Management
Board Germany
We create more jobs in
Germany, serve the real
economy and build on
the market positions we
have already achieved.
As the largest economy in Europe, Germany is a very
attractive market due to its international orientation and
value added across a whole variety of sectors. The BNP
Paribas Group has been present in Germany since 1947
and has positioned itself so broadly with its businesses
over the years that the range of products and services is
almost equal to that of a universal bank. With around
4,700 employees at 19 different locations we serve private
clients, corporates and institutional clients. As an international financial service provider and one of the largest
banks in the eurozone for all these client groups, BNP
Paribas can offer significant value added for the success of
its clients thanks to its expertise and international network.
At the same time, Germany is an extremely important market in BNP Paribas‘ European growth strategy
and it is to be strengthened even more over the next
few years. We create more jobs in Germany, serve
the real economy as well as add to what we already
offer and build on the market positions that we have
already achieved. The growth that we are aiming for here is
focused on continuity and is one of the supporting pillars
of BNP Paribas’ European strategy.
We look forward to having a dialogue with you based on
partnership, developing long-term business relationships
and deepening our existing partnerships.
