Jean Beaupré earned his law degree from Université Laval in 1973 and was admitted to the
Barreau du Québec in 1975. He then started his practice with Lemieux, Routhier, Gagnon,
Beaupré and in 1985 became a partner of the firm, which merged with Jolicoeur Lacasse in
1994.
