About the Listing Agent:
Having grown up on his family's working Thoroughbred operation,
Cathy S. Davis cultivated a passion for the horse from a very early age.
Spending weekends and summers on the family farm, she grew up riding horses and raising cattle. A deep love of the equine developed leading her to Lexington and the University of Kentucky;
she never left.
Throughout the years she has worked breaking yearlings, galloped racehorses and dealt
extensively with broodmares. Eventually she purchased historic Cherry Knoll Farm on Lemons
Mill Pike restoring the c. 1823 Greek Revival home while developing a working Thoroughbred breeding
and boarding operation on the grounds.
Continuing to build contacts within the Thoroughbred industry and the Central Kentucky farm
market, Cathy decided (once her four children were grown) to obtain her real estate license specializing
in Central Kentucky farms and estates. Historic properties have also played a major role in Cathy's real
estate expertise; she has restored numerous homes in both the Ashland Park and Bell Court
neighborhoods of Lexington.
Her career has thrived thanks in part to her life experience, knowledge and love of Central Kentucky. Numerous clients who have purchased and sold farms through Cathy have also invested in commercial real estate; this experience offers her clients yet another facet in which
she can represent your financial and investment interests.
