Lexington families. Known for its park-like
setting, it is also a national arboretum. Drive less
than 1 mile, heading west on Main Street. The
right lane becomes a right-hand turn only in to
the cemetery. To locate the Todd family plot,
follow the yellow line 1/2 mile and look for the
sign on the left. This line is the main road and
also useful if you get lost while exploring.

Lexington Visitors Center provides
information about attractions throughout the
region and is a great place to visit if you have
just arrived in Lexington. They also carry
printed walking tours, including for the Gratz
Park Historic District (below).
Gratz Park Historic District, about 1/2 mile
away, is a tree-filled park bordered by 19thcentury homes, including the Hunt Morgan
House and Transylvania University. A printed
walking tour of the district is available at the
Lexington Visitors Center.
