Second Collection Next Weekend
Bulletin Advertising
Next weekend, our parish will take up the Catholic
Relief Services Collection. This collection supports six
Catholic agencies that touch more than 1000 million,
Lives around the world. The funds from this collection
help provide food to the hungry, support to displaced
refugees, and Christ’s love and respect to all people.
Next week, please give generously to the Catholic Relief
Services Collection.
A new advertising year will begin soon. If you wish your
business to appear weekly in the bulletin, please contact
the parish office soon. Your ad will reach about 475
households and is well spent. The fee for a single ad is
$250 per year; a double ad is $500. We prefer a
business card or layout indicating how you wish your ad
to appear. If necessary we will assist you in designing
your notice. Please note that the DEADLINE for new ads
is Feb. 16.
1 Corinthians 6:20 Glorify God in your body

Second Sunday in Ordinary Time
Jesus’ question in today’s gospel is still valid today:
“What are you looking for?” What do you want from your
spouse, children or parents? Families are populated with
imperfect people. To expect perfection is unreal. To
expect and accept imperfection is wisdom.
