I recently started modeling, my first shoot was with beans. I like modeling
because I’m out going and like to be in front of the camera.
Who is your favorite model and why?
I don’t really have a favorite model, I do appreciate a lot of models though
and their work, I like all kinds of photography, I see beauty in a lot of
things/ people.
I grew up just me my brother dad and my mom.
My favorite city I’ve visited is Paris, France.
What city do you have on your list to go to before you die?
Before I die I want to visit Los Angeles, California.
What is your best asset?
My best asset is that I am loyal.
What are your goals as a model?
My goals as a model are simply to be the best I can be at every modeling
opportunity I get.
How do you see yourself progress in this field?
I’m not really sure how I will progress in this field but I’m excited to find
out!

What’s the motivation behind your most recent
shoots?
Traveling!. I’ve been motivated to work in different
cities to network with more models and artists to
help me grow Not just locally.
What was the theme on concept behind your
most recent favorite shoot?
I recently shot at a dope abandoned airport with
vintage aircraft. The models wardrobe was inspired by old school fighter pilot jumpsuits to go
along with location.
What big names have you worked with?
My personal favorite have been the very talented
@madzilla & @brittanya from Los Angeles.
Growing up did you know you would get into
photography?
Growing up I used to always make funny home
videos with a old school cam video recorder ha.
I didn’t show interest in photography until high
school when I choose to take it as a class.
Did you have a favorite photographer?
Yeah, Bryant Digital, Badboi, & Van Styles
have played a big role with my inspiration.

What cities do you have plans to
work in next?
I plan on traveling to Chicago, Miami
and new York within the year.

How did you start your brand?
The idea of creating a mobile app to serve consumers’ laundry &
dry cleaning needs first to came to me in 2012. It took me a solid 2
years to really think through the problem / solution in the industry.
Throughout 2014 I built several prototypes, but it wasn’t until the Fall
of 2014 that I tested a prototype in 3 buildings in NYC. From there, it
just grew organically.
Growing up did you know you would get into the tech industry?
No. As a little girl, I aspired to be a lawyer, a newscaster, or someone
famous.
Do you look up to any app developers now?
That’s an interesting question. I have deep respect for everyone involved in the tech industry. It’s a changing landscape that we’re all
trying to make the most of and figure out as we go along. The rapid
progression of technology makes the field exciting.
Where are you from?
I was born in the Philippines and came to the US as a toddler. I grew
up in Bayonne, NJ.
Does NYC count? Probably not since I live here… I’ve been fortunate enough to travel through magical cities like London, Paris,
Rome, Milan, Vienna, Budapest, Prague, Athens, Porto, Barcelona etc. Although each city varies in size, they each have so
much heart and character that makes them “big” in their own
way. For example, the architectural designs of Gaudi that dress
the streets of Barcelona mesmerized me. The lulling calm of Vienna inspired me as I considered Freud & Jung’s letters to each
other. The mythical history of Athens opened my eyes to the rich
heritage the Greeks have given to the world. The sweet wines of
Porto continue to indulge my senses each time I think of them.
The list goes on. Every city I have visited has left a big mark on
me in some way.
I’ve gone back to Paris and Florence a few times. There’s just
something about Paris that provokes the romantic bohemian
within me. And I’ve had a love affair with Italy since I was a teenager. I just keep on going back for more…
When it’s all said and done where do you want to end up?
In Italy. In a villa surrounded by rosemary & lavender that’s a bike
ride away from the beach.
What is different about your company from others?
Juliette is passionate about delivering clean clothes that smell
good. We pride ourselves on creating an authentic, branded experience through quality control, unmatched customer servicer,
and efficient technology. Every consumer touchpoint is thoughtfully designed. And we never outsource.
Tell us the best thing about running an app?
When your consumers are online based, it’s
easier to grow your business. Happy customers can bring in more customers through their
online network. The advent of social media
also allows for organic mentions and brand
awareness.
Do you have any cons?
Personal cons? Like character flaws? Sometimes when my creative side takes over, it’s
difficult for me to focus, which leads to a delay in finishing projects or meeting deadlines.
I can also become fixated on an idea. Then
once Google feeds that obsession, sleep becomes a challenge.
Any advice for someone looking to start their
own business?
Don’t be scared. Always believe in yourself.
You will always land on your own two feet
- even if things don’t go according to plan.
That’s the thrill of being an entrepreneur. The
possibility of failure combined with the possibility of success gives you an adrenaline rush.

Where are you originally from?
I’m originally from Tampa Florida. I’m a true southern boy lol!
How did you get started in the music industry?
I was a member of a boy band in Miami in 07-08 right after high school.
After the group disbanded I had a offer to go solo and took a meeting
with GMB/Epic at Sony and from there I’ve never looked back.
What artists or producers have you worked with
throughout your music career?
Wow, I’ve been so lucky in that realm. I’ve worked with so many producers from original tracks to cutting demo records. Lets see... Andre Merritt
(Chris Brown/Rihanna), Boi-1-da (Drake), Cory bold (Omarion/Keri hilson), Yonni (Trey Songz/lil Wayne), Kane Beats (Lil Wayne/Nicki Minaj),
Kowan Paul (Janet Jackson) and so many more. I’m currently working on
records for this final TLC album, I love them!! TBOZ is like a mentor to me
in so many ways and she probably doesn’t even realize it.
What inspires you to make music? Who inspires you?
I’m inspired by real life situations I aim to be as transparent as possible! It
has been a journey and still is of finding my self, my sound and my voice.
I’ve been fortunate to have some great people throughout the years give
me great pointers.
As for who inspires me I’d be here all day lol! MJ, Janet, TLC,
Marvin Gaye, Usher, Aaliyah, Brandy, Missy, Dru Hill, Justin
Timberlake, Joe, I can go on and on lol
What are some of your greatest accomplishments?
So far I’d have to say hitting 5 billboard charts with a mixtape. I’m still in shock over that I can’t believe that I was #1
on a chart and so high on the others just mentioning it is
shocking. “The music in my head” is the title the project and
is actually on soundcloud as well.
Do you have new music coming out any time soon?
I’m currently writing music and preparing to get in the lab!
I’m so excited to show my growth as an artist.
What message do you want to get across to the younger
generation?
My whole being and everything I stand for is being YOU.
No matter if everyone is going right, you can go left. It can
be cool to show love and spread love In a world that glorifies negativity!!

How did you get into modeling?
It was a very random way of finding my interest in modeling. I t started from doing a shoot with one of my friends
for his photography project. At first I was very awkward
but then I was fine. And he started really complementing
my skills and I thought “hey , I might not be so bad”. After he posted couple of the pictures on his social media
, everyone started messaging me to do shoots with me,
even a couple of professional photographers. That’s when
I thought , “ ok, I’m going to start taking this seriously”.
What are you into besides modeling?
Besides modeling I was always into acting and theater.
Since I was in elementary school, I did little plays at small
productions and in high school got into drama even more
and it honestly was one of the important parts that made
me better in modeling. It made me more confident, and
how to act in front of an audience or camera and etc... But
acting and theater will always stay a part of me.
Who is your favorite artist?
That is a hard question, because I don’t have just one favorite artist, but one of my favorite artists would have to
be Sia. Her voice is absolutely breathtaking, I could listen
to her all day.
Did you grow up with large family?
You could say I grew up in a big family. We always had kids running around, every weekend a picnic going on or a party with all
the family members. It was funny, because every time we would
get and uncle or an aunt from out of town , we would throw
such a big party, the neighbors actually thought we were having
a wedding. So you could defiantly say a crowded family.
I don’t let myself to have a free time , I always keep myself occupied. Either at work or out with friends, I just never really want
to be bored I guess.
What is the biggest city you’ve been to?
One of the biggest city I have been to was Istanbul, Turkey and
one of the most interesting ones. There is so much culture that I
fell in love with, it like the best of both worlds. It can be modern
also very classical.
What is your favorite city to visit?
My favorite city to visit would have to be my hometown Tehran, Iran. You can never go wrong from where
you grew up in. It is always great visiting there, brings
back a lot of memories.
What city do you want to visit before you die?
The city I have to visit before I die, would be Santorini,
Greece. This city too beautiful, it almost looks unrealistic to me. I only want to visit it to find out if its real
or not.
A guy with a beard, is defiantly a huge turn on. Also
a guy in a suit, that does wonders also. So if you’re a
guy with nice beard and your in a suit, you don’t even
have to talk, ill give you my number myself.
My favorite position in bed would be watching Netflix
and some carry-out sushi. There is no better position
in bed than that.

When I was little, I would always model
for my mom and anyone else who would
watch. Mark reached out to me through
Instagram about a year ago and asked if I
would be interested in shooting with him,
so I of course agreed, and I absolutely love
it!
I own 12 American quarter horses that I
breed and train. I also played collegiate
golf, and enjoy hunting, fishing, and just
about anything else that involves being
outside!

before you die?
I have several places that I would like to go
before I do, but my top pick would have
to be New Zealand, I totally want to check

I think that the sexiest thing about a man
is when he is willing to show his affection
in front of everyone. Those spontaneous
moments when you get kissed, or he
smacks your ass in front of hundreds of
people is very attractive to me.
Besides sleeping? I don’t have a favorite
position, always switch it up!

What’s the motivation behind your most recent shoots?
My most recent shoots have been two swimwear campaigns in Rome, they have appeared in some of the most
famous newspapapers in Italy! I am so proud of that because I worked something like 10 hours a day but i really
enjoyed it!!
Growing up did you know you would get into
photography?
I have been modelling since the age of 18 and it’s almost the 3th year I live alone studying and working . I
was born in southern Italy and at the beginning was so
difficult move alone with literally no one! But work hard
always pays off and now I am so happy to work on what
I have built!
Did you have a favorite photographer??
I can say the best photographer I work with is Marco
Leonardi! He is very popular in Italy and I was so happy
to work with him! He inspired me so much! I love his style
and his natural shoots .
Well, I lived in London for 5 months last year and I think it
is navel of the world! London is very big and it gives you
so many opportunities. You can find every person from
the world and you can’t never be bored.
I have been in Dubai last December and it is literally a
heaven! I loved the desert,the dresses,the culture and the
people.

I ll go to New Delhi, in India, on June for work and I
am finishing to work for my second dresses line. I can’t
wait to see the results!

detail.

Jelisa Peterson A Master Of The Lense
Growing up did you know you would get
into photography?
I grew up around a lot of photography. My
grandfather was a great amateur photographer who photographed me regularly and
with my grandma made entire albums of me.
A young uncle of mine was also really into
photography and had his own darkroom. I
wanted a camera to record my experiences
at my first YWCA summer camp when I was
seven years old. I took a lot of very blurry
photos of my friends and our activities. This
was happening at a time when photography
was not an interest and activity of the masses, like it is today, the seventies and eighties.
As a child, I don’t remember thinking I want
to be a photographer. It was just something
I enjoyed very much.
When did your interest in photography become something more for you?
I got my first 35mm camera when I turned
sixteen. But I didn’t become passionate
about creating images until I had graduated
from college and was working as a volunteer
intern in Zimbabwe. I was working with an
indigenous women’s organization there for
two years and I found the culture, the people
and the environment around me so beautiful and fascinating. I was dying to show my
family and friends at home this new world I
was experiencing. I was able to incorporate
photography into my daily work at the organization. I used my images to illustrate the
difficult issues that the women were facing
in the grant proposals I was writing to European donors. I went home to the States
for my sister’s wedding after nine months
of avid photography. I showed them some
of my photos and was really surprised with
their reactions. They encouraged me to try
and get an exhibit. It was the first time I remember thinking I wanted to become a photographer.

Are you self-taught?
Yes, I am self-taught but mentors have played
a key role in my development as a photographer.

Which countries have you spent time in to
pursue your photography?
African people have been my focus and I
have spent a lot of time there. In addition
to a ton of travel, I have lived and worked in
Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
In 1996, I did a solo backpacking journey
from Egypt to South Africa where I went to
Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia,
Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and
Swaziland. I have been to some of these
countries several times and spent time in
Rwanda and Namibia as well. I have also
photographed in Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia,
Guatemala and Mexico. I would like to do
more in Europe.
Which is your favorite place to
make images?
Mozambique is my favorite place. I love
it and have spent more time there than
anywhere else. The people, their cultures
and traditions, the food, the beaches, the
beauty, I could go on. And all of the friends
I have made there make it so special to me.
Where would you like to go back to?
I would love to go back to Zanzibar. What
a fascinating place! I love the blend of cultures and the great beauty of the island.
Where is your favorite city to visit?
I love Cape Town so much! I lived there
for five years and really miss it. To me, it is
the most beautiful city in the world.

What countries are on your must visit list?
Ethiopia, Morocco and Portugal are at the top of my list.
What has been the motivation behind your most recent shoots?
My attention has centered on the people of northern Mozambique since 2005. In particular, I am concentrating on a small
island there called Ilha de Mozambique or Mozambique Island. It is a UN heritage site and the former colonial capital of
Mozambique. It is a unique place with such a rich history and
varied ethnic and religious traditions. I really admire the islanders commitment to the celebration and acceptance of multiple
cultures. I am documenting their lives and culture. My dream is
to have a book of this work to be published. I would also love
to have an exhibition in Mozambique. I’m headed back next
year.
What do you think is the biggest misconception about being
a photographer?
For me the biggest misconception is that being a photographer is a glamorous job that is paid well. For some, this is true
but I think it is an exception. Carrying around a seventy-five
pound backpack plus camera equipment, riding around for
days in hot and crowded buses, trucks, trains and boats, staying in a lot of one star places, eating peanuts and mangos for
days on end is adventure and I love it but it is not glamorous.

Who is JP Hanney?
I’m just a southern boy from Louisiana! Just joking although I
am from the “boot.” I am a Houston Texan heavily involved in
the arts. My focus is fashion, music and photography. When
you put all three together, magic happens.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I have been a musician pretty much most of my life, so producing tracks and spending time in the studio brings me life.
Fashion is also my passion. I enjoy putting pieces together
that express who I am. I believe that fashion allows us to do
that. There are no rules when you’re an artist. Lastly, I enjoy
spending time behind my Canon lens. I love taking shots of
random people and buildings.
What type of photographer would you
consider yourself to be?
I don’t have one particular style of photography. I just enjoy taking cool shots. If the subject looks fascinating, I point
and shoot. Same goes for a model shoot. If the model has
a stimulating style or look, my creative juices begin to flow,
which makes for a great shoot.
Who is your favorite music producer?
Wow…I have several! But if I had to choose one, I would say
Pharrell Williams and then Timbaland. Both are so creative.
What inspired you to become an artist?
I have always been different from everyone else. I am a
very observant person. Art allows you to express yourself. It
doesn’t matter if it’s via music, photography or fashion.
What do you like most about fashion?
Expressing yourself through a piece of clothing or a pair of shoes can
boost your confidence. I am really big into the fabrics and the production. For example, I am an avid sneaker collector. I enjoy lacing
up a pair of exclusive leather sneakers with a theme or inspiration
behind them.
Who is your favorite designer and clothing brand?
I have several! Just name a few, Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, Pharrell
Willams, etc.
Are you working on any projects or collaborations?
I am currently collaborating with a designer by the name of Yaku Ray.
His brand consists of T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts and knits. Yaku Ray
Clothing has been around for about 5 years. We are in the process of
working on a collection geared toward the fashionistas of the world.
What is your favorite city to visit?
I love New York City. The people are always grinding, whichkeeps me
motivated and inspired.

time is few and far between so I try to be
totally present in everything I do. In this
way, I consider all time to be “free time.”

What’s the easiest way to get a woman

Pay attention to her: What makes her

I started modeling by putting myself out on Facebook and Instagram. I’ve always
loved being behind a camera.
Besides modeling I work at Vapor World In a little town called Marshfield. It’s a really
nice atmosphere and I enjoy the service!
In my free time I enjoy going for hikes and hanging around good friends. I am
always working on different poses and thinking of ideas for pictures as well. I also
love to travel when I can. Love sight seeing and learning different places. Sometimes I might just take a nice drive somewhere to get out on a nice day.
I absolutely love pets! I could be around all animals every day! I want just about
every one I see. I have a little dog her name is Maggy. Love her to death. Defiantly
my besty!

What is your weak spot?
Tattoos are a big one. I also love food! Haha! Kisses on the neck or hugs from behind. Ear nibbles and my hair being played with. I like to see veins and muscle too.
I love a dominate male. One who isn’t afraid to check my attitude from time to time.
Tattoos are very attractive to me. A man who can be respectful but playful and a bit
naughty at the right times.
Who is the lucky guy in your life?
At the moment I’m just dating. I’m still young and have plenty of time to find the
right guy. I’m just focusing on my goals and letting life take me where I need to go.
If yes, how did you meet.. if no are you looking?
I believe I’m always looking. I’m always waiting. If it’s meant to be it will and if not
then I have a lot ahead of me in my future that I can focus on.
What are your goals for 2016?
My goals for 2016 are to improve my poses and hopefully stand out to photographers and get more photoshoots! I am very serious about the modeling industry
and would enjoy working my way into doing it as a career. Until then I’m just working on building a strong portfolio and inspiring others to love who they are and not
be afraid to go after what they want in life!
Who is your favorite music artist? My favorite music artist?
There are so so many I can’t choose just one! I listen to everything but mostly rock
and rap. Slipknot is a big one as well as Eminem.
I’ve never really been around much family growing up.
Just my parents mostly. My grandma and grandpa from
my dads side more so than my moms until my grandpa
passed. Now mostly my moms side I see. Still not to big
though.
The biggest city I’ve been to so far is Nashville Tennesee.
I havnt gotten out in the states much but I plan on it very
soon! I have been to Cozumel Mexico and the Bahamas.
Also a couple islands off the coasts of each! I loved it!
Any tips for other models?
My tips to other models would be to not give up! It’s never
a competition! Always enjoy who you are and keep killing
what you do! Positive attitude always!
