for five male residents. There were so many people who helped make this dream a
reality. Without the support of our architect, builder, interior designer, Board of DirecƚŽƌƐ͕ &ƵŶĚƌĂŝƐŝŶŐ ŽŵŵŝƩ ĞĞ͕ ƚŚĞ ƉĞŽƉůĞ
who helped with the building supplies and
furniture, we would not have this awardwinning home. Our “band of brothers” have
adjusted well to each other and are looking
forward to the next residents moving in.
Our wonderful house parents, Bernie &
Chris, are helping the men become more
independent and loving their new home.

The items on the drawing board for the next
phase include establishing an endowment fund to provide scholarships for up to half of
ŽƵƌƌĞƐŝĚĞŶƚƐĨŽƌƵƉƚŽϰϬƉĞƌĐĞŶƚŽĨƚŚĞƚƵŝƟŽŶ͘ t ĞĂƌĞĂůƐŽǁ ŽƌŬŝŶŐŽŶŵĂƌŬĞƟŶŐ
' ůŽƌLJŽŵŵƵŶŝƚLJďĞƩ ĞƌƚŽƌĞĂĐŚƉŽƚĞŶƟĂůƌĞƐŝĚĞŶƚƐĂŶĚŶĞǁ ĚŽŶŽƌƐ͘ /ƚŝƐŽƵƌŐŽĂůƚŽ
start the second home next year. This will depend on donors who are inspired to join
the Glory Team!

NEW EMPLOYEES
We’ve seen some changes since opening last October
and have some new staff on board. We said good-bye
to the first house parents, were grateful for the wonderful two interim women (Debbie and Kim) and then
welcomed our current house parents, Bernie and Chris
Klingsmith!
