THE EXPERIENCE
Itacaré is one of Bahia’s most beautiful destinations. There, you will
find delicate fine sand beaches surrounded by dreamy coconut groves.
On the urban portion of the city the streets made of stone and colonial
houses preserve historical relics from the Black Gold era, when the
cocoa barons helped the city flourish.

LOCATION
Txai Itacaré Resort was built on an ancient coconut and cacao farm, a
227-acres estate that is part of an environmental protection area. It is
located 29 miles away from Ilheus and 217 miles away from Salvador.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Combining maximum comfort with the luxury of rustic simplicity, the
bungalows at Txai Itacaré Resort were built with raw material from the
region, such as piassava (dried palm fonds), bamboo and dende palm
trees. The hotel has 38 suites that may be just a few steps from the

Premium Bungalow: The 70m² bungalow is built on a wooden deck
suspended in stilts and has a private balcony, with chaise-lounges. The
bungalows are equipped with a mini-bar, safe, telephone, airconditioning, an outdoor shower and a king-size bed. For your privacy,
they are located in the hill and have view of the sea and the local
forest.
Luxury Bungalow: The 70m² bungalow is built on a wooden deck
suspended in stilts and has a private covered balcony, with chaiselounges. The bungalows are equipped with a mini-bar, safe,
telephone, air-conditioning, an outdoor shower and a king-size bed.
The internal structure is different from the structure of the Luxury
North Bungalows.
Superior Bungalow: The 60m² bungalow is built on a wooden deck
suspended in stilts and has a private balcony. The bungalows are
equipped with a mini-bar, safe, telephone, air-conditioning, an outdoor
shower and a king-size bed. They are spread all over the Txai complex,
both at the beach and in the hills.
GASTRONOMY
Contemporary gastronomy and a deep respect for the local culinary
traditions. In the kitchen chef Paulinho Martins highlights nature’s
unique flavors and aromas.

taken from ancient cultures and enhanced with a special fusion of spices from Bahia. These are some of the
spa’s services: rituals, such as Purification, Deep Relaxation, Beauty Ritual, Male Ritual, Step on the clouds,

PAYMENT METHODS AND CANCELATION
CREDIT CARD OR WIRE TRANSFER
In order to secure a reservation, passengers must pay 30% of the total price of the trip via deposit up to 90 days prior to
the departure date. Reservations made under 90 days before the departure date will result in the payment of the full
cost of the trip. The following credit cards are accepted: Visa and MasterCard.
Note that:
 Payments with credit cards are processed in Brazilian Reais.
 Payments via wire transfer are converted from Brazilian Reais to US Dollars at the exchange rate of the day of
the transaction.
CANCELATION POLICY
 90 or more days prior to the check-in date: full refund of payment.
 89 to 61 days prior to the check-in date: 80% refund of payment.
 60 to 30 days prior to the check-in date: 50% refund of payment.
 29 days or less prior to the check-in date: no refund of payment.
IMPORTANT

holidays, Carnaval and New Year.
 The itinerary may vary according to the need for operational changes, which can be caused by factors such as
climate and availability.
 There will not be a refund or discount due to overnight reductions, once the check-in is made.
 Upon confirmation of the trip, a Medical Form and a Responsibility Term will be sent to all travelers, and
should be filled in, signed and sent back to Auroraeco at least 30 days prior to the start of the trip. If there are
less than 30 days between the dates of purchase and departure, please send the above mentioned documents
as soon as possible.
