The high end international real estate trend is characterized with the presentation by estate agents of dwellings fitted out with exclusive
trimmings and furniture, adding an increased value to the property. In this market sector, it has become a consolidated custom to decorate
the kitchen setting with prestigious furniture, accessories and household appliances. Schiffini has been operating in the contract field for
several years, providing high quality products and services targeted at designers, promoters and building contractors who accelerate in
this dynamic sector. To promptly meet their needs, the company, in 2005, set up an instrumental internal operating unit, the Schiffini
Contract Division, that is capable of providing the following:
Consulting: in accordance with the purchaser’s requirements, a team of architects and technicians examine each single project and
select, in agreement with the client, the most suitable product.
Planning: a personalized project is provided for each room.
Personalization: the Contract Division can devise decoration and finish solutions to answer the specific requirements of each customer.
Delivery and installation: the company can coordinate and organize contract supply installation in any part of the world, by means of its
own fitter teams or its sales organization.
Post-sale service: Schiffini can provide assistance and service, including the supply of spare parts.
In conclusion, the goal of this division is to supply, in accordance with the customer’s requirements, top quality products combining design
with Schiffini technology, that prides itself with over 80 years of experience, as well as the flexibility of a structure that is capable of giving
customers personalized and dedicated services.
Schiffini's commitment to ecological and eco-friendly products
Schiffini has always demonstrated a great commitment in manufacturing products with non-toxic, recyclable and environmentally-friendly
materials.
Schiffini's cabinets are made of wood fibre panels or extruded anodized aluminium. The former are made of 100% recycled wood fibre,
FSC (certification authority of ecological wood) certified, and are resistant to humidity (complying with Class P3 of EN 312 regulations).
These panels are marked IDROLEB and are F**** (FOUR STARS) certified, testifying an almost null emission of formaldehyde (a chemical
compound potentially toxic at high values). The FOUR STARS is the severest regulation in this subject and is compulsory in Japan, where
the most restrictive limitation of these emissions are enforced. It must be underlined that almost the totality of other kitchen products
which are present on the domestic and international market do not conform to these standards.
All structure edges are bordered with extra-thick ABS.
All units are assembled with linking screws and cams, without any glue, to avoid pollution and harmful fumes. This system is "unique" and
Schiffini is the sole manufacturer of modular kitchens to adopt it, in Italy and abroad. The system makes it easy to disassemble the
cabinets for maintenance or to replace single deteriorated items (cabinets are anyway supplied assembled).
Also extruded aluminium structure cabinets comply with ecology and hygiene requirements, being waterproof, resistant to external agents,
fully recyclable and fireproof. They can completely be dismantled, as the wood fibre panel structures, and fitted internally with hygienic,
unbreakable and recyclable internal shelves of tempered glass.
Schiffini's kitchen doors and internal structures have been conceived and designed with the same philosophy: they are constructed with
non-polluting production systems, are completely non-toxic and made from recycled and recyclable materials.
Space System deep drawers are part of an exclusive project studied by Schiffini and available with the kitchens of its production only.
These functional elements, which are made of aluminium and tempered glass, are extremely strong and hygienic and can easily be
cleaned up. Wood and veneerings used by Schiffini are not derived from primary forests but from renewable plantations, and this
underlines the great commitment that Schiffini demonstrates relative to environmental protection and the defence of ecological heritage.
The company was granted the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification and the single components comply with specific quality and reliability
certifications released by important quality authorities such as CATAS, LGA, TUV, etc.
In the United States of America Schiffini's kitchens are marketed under the "GreenSpec" certification, which gives evidence of nontoxicity, recyclability and ecological conformity. Large supplies of these kitchen models have been provided to furnish dwelling complexes
built with eco-friendly materials and technologies.
