Last Friday, 26 of us headed off to Mt Selwyn for the annual ski trip with Mrs Beattie,
Mrs Casey and Mrs McDonald.
After arriving and getting all our hire gear, we set off to hit the slopes for our lessons.
Some of us were first timers, some beginners and some were intermediate skiers.
Every one either learnt the basics or picked up some new tips to help them become
better skiers. After lunch, the first timers went for a second lesson while the others put
their new skills to the test on the slopes with some free time.
The weather was good and the behaviour was good so a great time was had by all.
The staff and students would
like to thank the parents who
came along and helped with
the supervision of the students

TRENT BARRETT RUGBY LEAGUE
BOYS COMPETITION
Last Wednesday we drove to Gundagai for
the Trent Barrett Shield Rugby League day.
We joined with some other small schools
Nangus, Bongongo, Batlow, Gundagai Sth
and Brungle. Our team was called the Small
Schools. In our first game we played
McCauley we won 5,2 it was very exciting.
Our second game was a different story
because we lost 7,4. But because we won
the first game we made the finals, so we got
to play a third game. We played St Pats.
This was a long, hard game but we ended
up with draw, the score was 8,8. It was a
good, fun day. Thanks to the parents who
drove us to Gundagai and to Mr Till for
coaching us.

TRENT BARRETT GIRLS LEAGUE
TAG COMPETITION
The girls won 2 games and lost 1 and were
third in their pool.
Grace, Lily, Jorja, Julie, Sara and Bella
combined with the students from Bongongo
Public School and Nangus Public School to
form a team to compete in the Trent Barrett
Shield in Gundagai. Altogether, the team
played three games of league tag, and won
two of them. They played against McCauley
Catholic School, Tumut Public School and
Tumbarumba Public School. Thank you to
Mrs Annetts and Kelly Smith for looking
after the team and coaching the girls. All of
the girls enjoyed making new friends and
playing football.

MISSING iPHONE at Athletics Carnival
On Friday at the Highlands Athletics Carnival, Miss
McDonald-Kerr from Brungle PS, white iPhone 6 plus
was taken from the toilets, where she had inadvertently
left it for a very short time. So far there has been no
sign of it coming back.
A reward has been offered for its return as, apart from
anything else, it has cherished families photos in it.
The phone was switched off about 4.00 pm on Friday.
Obviously it has been reported to police and Apple
have blocked it.
If any one knows the whereabouts of this phone please
advise the school office or Brungle PS on 69449160.
