If it is seriously damaged you should stop using the helicopter as it could cause injury. *If you dont fly the helicopter for some time please remove the battery from the helicopter. As this will avoid the battery from leaking which could damage the product. Product/spare parts included in this packaging Description Qty(pc) Description Qty(pc) Helicopter 1 Adaptor 1 Manual 1 Remote controller 1 Rotor blade 2 TF memory card 1 1 Card reader Major parts servo camera Helicopter split charging device Charging the helicopter This helicopter comes with a split balanced charging device (1 piece plug charger +1 piece balance box charger). How to charge the helicopter using the balance charger: Turn off the helicopter; unplug the battery cable from the helicopter. Insert the plug of the battery cable into the port of the balance box (matching the plug to the port) Insert the plug of the plug charger cable into the circular port of the balance box, then, connect the plug of the charger to an AC power outlet to start charging the battery. Once it is charging, the red power light of the balance box will be on. When charging is finished, both the red light and green light of the charge controller will be on. Full charge takes about 2-3 hours. When not playing with the model, please turn it off and unplug the battery cable. If you keep it connected it could discharge itself damaging the battery. Also take the batteries out of the remote control when not using the model for a long time. This product comes with a battery, please pay attention to the following safety instructions: Only use the charger provided to charge the battery. When charging the battery: If the battery becomes too hot, then the battery is overcharged. If this is the case then stop charging the battery. As over charging will damage the battery. Always supervise the charging of the battery. Do not take the battery apart. After flying the model the battery will be hot. Wait for about 30 minutes for the battery to cool down before recharging. If you are planning on leaving the model for sometime and not using it. Then charge it for about 1 hour before storing it away. Preparation for flight 1. Insert the battery plug into the socket located on the right side of the helicopter, the indicator light of the helicopter will flash rapidly, then place the helicopter down on to a flat stable platform. 2. Slide the power switch to the “ON” position on the remote control. To activate the remote control slowly push the throttle stick up to the top and then down to the bottom. The indicator light will flash rapidly while the remote control is sending out the connectional signal. 3. When the auto signal connection process is finished and both the indicator light on the helicopter and transmitter does not blink and remains lit, then push the throttle stick up slowly and then the helicopter will take off. OPERATIONAL TIPS 1.User may push either of the control sticks to skip the auto signal connection process once the helicopter has a connection. 2.Follow the connection tip precisely in order. 3.Once the transmitter is turned off, the connection procedure must be repeated again to reconnect the helicopter. Flight adjustment 1.Adjusting the swash plate: Insert the battery plug into the power socket on the helicopter and set the helicopter down on to a flat stable platform. When the transmitter and helicopter are connected, the indicator light will remain “ON” without blinking. Check the swash plate if it is not horizontal, adjust the length of the servo connector, until the swash plate is horizontal. Platform of the swash Swash Servo connector Parallel Extension line of the helicopter 2.Operating Push the left control stick up, and the rotation speed of the main rotor increases and the helicopter ascends accordingly. Push the left control stick down, and the rotation speed of the rotor decreases and the helicopter decends accordingly. When the helicopter is in the air, turn the control stick to the left, the helicopter will spin to the left, turn it to the right and the aircraft will spin to the right. When the helicopter is in the air, push the control stick on the right up, the helicopter will move forward. When the helicopter is in the air, push the control stick on the left down, the helicopter will move backwards. Hints 1.If the helicopter keeps spinning in the air without any control movement, you can correct this by adjusting the trimmer on the remote control. If the helicopter is spinning counter clockwise, move the gyro regulation button to the right until the helicopter stops spinning. If the helicopter is spinning clockwise move the gyro regulation button to the left until the helicopter stops spinning. 2.If the helicopter keeps flying forwards or backwards in the air without any control movement, you can correct this by adjusting the trimmer on the remote control. If the helicopter moves forward without any control movement, move the forward/backward gyro regulation button until the helicopter stops moving. If the helicopter moves backwards without any control movement, move the forward/backward gyro regulation button until the helicopter stops moving. Videography and Photography Function 1. Insert the TF memory card into the camera module on the helicopter then turn on the helicopter. Once the helicopter is on a red and green will flash on the camera module. Around two seconds later, the lights will stop flashing and remain “ON” it is now ready. 2. When the helicopter is connected to the controller the indicator lights on the camera module will remain “ON”. To take video move the switch on the camera in the the direction of the video icon (Pic. 1), and then turn on the camera switch on the remote control, it will start taking video and the red light on the camera module will flash. Press the camera button again on the controller and you will stop taking video To take photos move the swith on the camera in the direction of the photography icon (Pic. 2), and then press the camera button on the remote control to take photos. Pic.1 Pic.2 3. After you have finished filming, take the TF memory card out of the camera module and insert it into the USB card reader, then insert the USB reader into the USB input on your the computer to download the video. TIPS To stop filming, please press the camera button on the remote control. If you unplug the battery cable or take out the TF memory card from the camera module it will result in the loss of the video data. To avoid helicopter crashing, please do not insert or take out the TF memory card from the camera module, whilst the helicopter is on. The TF memory card should be installed before the helicopter is on and taken out only when off. If you crash turn the helicopter off and then turn back on to recover the helicopter. When the red light and the green light on the camera keep flashing alternately, it means that the TF memory card is not inserted or the TF memory card is damaged. It is possible to restore the memory card by reformatting(Take out the TF memory card, then, insert it into the USB card reader, then, connect it to the computer and reformat the memory card) If the red light remains "ON" this indicates insufficient memory. Circuit protection devices 1.When the battery voltage of the helicopter drops to a certain level , the helicopter will be out of control. 2.To protect the helicopter and prevent any risks caused when the main rotor is jammed, the main rotor will stop rotating. You may need too reset the helicopter connection to restore normal movement. Trouble shooting Problem Reason Solution 1.The helicopter is underpowered. No reaction from the helicopter 1.Recharge the helicopter battery 2.The indicator light of the helicopter 2.Place the helicopter on to a flat surface, flashes rapidly. until the indicator light stops blinking. 3.the helicopter and the transmitter isn’t connected 7 3.Repeat the connection procedure.
