My journey with Dermalogica and the
International Dermal Institute started
many years ago while studying Beauty
Therapy in the UK. Whilst working
in the industry, I soon realised I had
a true love for treating skin. When
the opportunity arose to work for the
International Dermal Institute in the UK,
it felt like a natural fit. To be part of a
company that feels as passionate about
the industry as I do and truly believes
in the Professional Skin Therapist and
raising the standards, I feel privileged to
come to work every day. I look forward
to meeting the Australian Dermalogica
tribe of Skin Therapists and sharing my
excitement for skin.

I have always had a passion for skin
health; being in the industry for 5 years
has developed this more. It wasn’t until
I started working with Dermalogica
in a Skin Centre that my passion for
the brand really ignited. I attended
workshops at the Brisbane Training
Centre and worked my way up to
becoming a Dermalogica Expert. It was
my goal to then join the Dermalogica
tribe and ultimately be part of the
Education team. When the opportunity
arose, I was very excited! I look forward
to sharing my passion and knowledge
of this fantastic brand.
I have always had a strong belief
in education so naturally I knew
Dermalogica was the right fit for me. I
started my journey here as a student
and fell in love with the product and
the postgraduate education that was
offered.
I originally started as a Therapist in
one of our concept skin centres and
continued to follow my passion towards
becoming an Educator. I love that
Dermalogica allows the Skin Therapist
to explore different opportunities within
our forever changing industry and I love
that I can be a part of the journey each
day.
I cannot wait for you to come and
join our ‘tribe’ and experience the
opportunities and results that education
can provide for you. Let’s together start
your journey to success.

I originally joined The International
Dermal Institute in the UK, as a
Dermalogica Training Specialist. I then
transferred to Australia and am currently
the International Training Specialist. This
position allows me to travel throughout
Asia and New Zealand, keeping my
finger on the pulse globally.
I’ve always had a passion for everything
health and beauty and Dermalogica
incorporates everything I love. I first
began my journey when Dermalogica
visited my college in the U.K. With
so much knowledge and passion, I
was inspired and knew I wanted to
become a part of that team. I began
working at QVB Skin Bar, it was great
recommending products and watching
people fall in love with Dermalogica and
their skin. I look forward to meeting you
and sharing your Dermalogica journey
also.
I was first introduced to Dermalogica
when I began my Beauty Therapy
apprenticeship eleven years ago. After
attending numerous workshops, I fell
in love with Dermalogica’s vision and
passion towards education. When
the opportunity arose to join the
Dermalogica tribe, I was so excited
to join a company that embraces
everything I love about this industry.
My passion for all things skin helps me
to provide students with vital information
on the skin health, through the effective
use of the Dermalogica range and
ingredient technology.
I knew that Dermalogica was for me
the minute it hit my skin. I love the
opportunity I have to share this day in
and day out with everyone that visits our
training facility.

As a child I always loved playing with
skin care and make-up so it is easy
to see how I ended up working in
this amazing industry. I have always
enjoyed challenging myself to learn
new techniques, skills and information
that will help me to be the best Skin
Therapist I can possibly be. Dermalogica
has provided me with the perfect
opportunity to fulfil my passions of skin,
learning and travel all rolled into one job!
My professional journey actually started
in the architecture industry. My heart
was never really in it and I knew it
wasn’t what I was really meant to be
doing with my life. My career took a
drastic change when I realised that
most of my time was spent at my local
skin treatment centre, experiencing
treatments, learning about new skin
care technologies and innovations. I
knew this was the right path for me.
My Dermalogica experience originated
many years ago when I was introduced
to the company through educational
workshops and in the treatment centres
I worked at. Not only did I fall in love
with the products, the brand and its
beliefs, I was blown away with the level
of professionalism and passion that the
Training Specialists delivered at each
workshop.
I am looking forward to seeing what new
exciting developments will occur within
the Dermalogica tribe in the coming
years, and I look forward to sharing
them with you and helping you achieve
your professional goals.
While completing the Diploma of
Beauty Therapy, I fell in love with the
idea of training future generations to
do what I am so passionate about and
in particular the opportunity to inspire,
motivate and empower students. I
knew that combining the two areas
of the industry I am most passionate
about - skin care and education, I had
to work for the best in the industry Dermalogica!
I would leave the classroom feeling
empowered, knowledgeable and
motivated to further my education in
the industry. It was in this moment that
I imagined how fantastic it would be to
work for the leading skin care company
in the world, now I can proudly say, I
am.

When I embarked on a career in
skin care, never did I think I would
be fortunate enough to work for
Dermalogica. I now take great pride
in being a part of a company at the
forefront of the industry. My position as
Training Specialist allows me to combine
my three biggest passions – education,
the skin and people – I couldn’t be
happier!
During my studies I had the opportunity
to attend the post graduate training
with Dermalogica. I always felt inspired
to be the best skin therapist I could be
with the wealth of knowledge that I had
gained during each workshop.
I was introduced to Dermalogica during
my studies. I was amazed by the
Training Specialist knowledge and her
ability to motivate our class to want to
learn more. This was when I knew I was
in the right industry and couldn’t wait
to share my knowledge and motivate
others in order for them to get their
best skin results possible. Being part
of the Education team gives me the
opportunity to share my knowledge
and skills and help motivate other skin
therapist with this amazing Brand.
I enjoyed my years working as a Skin
Therapist, but quickly discovered I
needed more – I needed to share my
passion with others. I am thrilled that
my position enables me to share my
knowledge and passion with current
and upcoming skin therapists, and
expose others to the wonder that is
Dermalogica.
Dermalogica is a brand that I am proud
to say I am truly delighted to be a part
of. I get up each morning excited of
what the new day will bring. Being a
part of the education team fills me with
pride as I am in a position to educate
and inspire you as the skin therapist,
just like I was, all those years ago.

I first came in contact with Dermalogica over 10 years ago
while I was studying in Ireland. From that moment I knew I
wanted to be a part of the Dermalogica tribe.
It has been a company I have admired over the years, and
it’s been very exciting to watch Dermalogica grow. I’ve
always wanted to be a Training Specialist as I love helping
people and sharing my knowledge and ideas.
When the opportunity arose to join Dermalogica, I jumped
at it. I enjoy going to work everyday as I learn so much from
the company and my peers around me!

My love of skin and all things Dermalogica started when I
attended the Strand College of Beauty Therapy. I decided
then that I needed to be working in an environment that
strongly believed in the health and wellness of the skin. My
first position as a Professional Skin Therapist was working
for one of Sydney’s top VIP Dermalogica treatment centres.
Working there allowed me to further my knowledge and skill
set as I was encouraged to attend regular workshops both
at The International Dermal Institute and Dermalogica.
It was while I was attending these courses that I made
the decision that my goal would be to join Dermalogica,
and one day be part of the Education team. It was not
long after that, I was successful in securing a position
with Dermalogica, first with a role in Customer Service
shortly followed by reaching my ultimate goal as a Training
Specialist.

From day one my passion has been skin and ingredient
technology. As soon as I graduated from college I was
fortunate to work for an award winning 5 star day spa
where our treatments were results orientated and focused
on skin and body health. It was here that I felt a pull
towards education as it was a core aspect of our job role.
I knew then that education was the pathway for me and
Dermalogica was the answer!
It gives me great joy and fulfilment to come to work
every day as a Dermalogica Training Specialist. I get to
share unsurpassed knowledge to ignite the fire within
the Professional Skin Therapist to become successful,
knowledgeable and excited about the amazing industry we
work in.

I was a Dermalogica lover and consumer long before I
became a skin therapist. When the opportunity arose to join
the Dermalogica tribe I was thrilled. I cannot wait to pass
the knowledge and passion I have for the industry and the
Dermalogica brand onto other professional skin therapists.

I was originally born in the UK and then moved to Australia
for a different adventure. I trained as a Therapist and
Hairdresser at a college in the UK for 3 years. My passion
has always been to take a holistic approach to skin health
and my first job was on a Health Retreat in a majestic
stately home in the English countryside. There I learnt
about traditional Spa Hydrotherapy treatments and what
impact lifestyle choices can have on the skin and body. I
passionately believe that the combination of a balanced diet,
exercise and stress free living combined with advanced skin
care products like Dermalogica will deliver the best possible
results for great skin.
After school I knew I wanted to become a Skin Therapist
because of my passion for skin health. I first started
working in a skin care centre where waxing, manicures and
pedicures were the majority of treatments. I found great
success in changing the clients’ mindsets from the old
fashioned ‘beautician’ to the ‘skin therapist’. I was then
offered the opportunity to manage a treatment centre,
during which time I was introduced to the Dermalogica
products and fell in love with them.
Something you might not know about me is that I also am
a volunteer Educator with Osteoporosis Australia. So many
people don’t realise how diet and exercise, or lack of, can
have a huge impact on whether or not you will suffer from
this debilitating disease.
I love working in the Education department as it allows me
to join my two passions in life - skin and education! I can’t
wait to welcome you to our tribe and get you as excited
about skin care as our team is.

My love for the skin care industry was ignited when I was
just 15 years old while doing work experience at a local skin
treatment centre. I went on to study Skin Therapy straight
after high school and have worked within many different
environments of the industry.
What makes me so passionate about working for
Dermalogica is seeing the positive impact our workshops
have on our stockists. The ability we have to reignite the
passion and re-motivate them to fall back in love with what
they do. It doesn’t get much better than that!
My passion lies with coaching and empowering the
Professional Skin Therapist, ensuring they are equipped with
knowledge of skin anatomy and the ingredients within the
Dermalogica products to get the very best results for their
clients’ skin!
I hope you enjoy the workshops as much as I enjoy
delivering them and look forward hearing about your skin
care journey.

My passion has always driven me
towards the skin care and spa industry.
I’ve also been fortunate enough that
I have been able to travel and work
in some fabulous places all over the
world. Coming from a very small town in
Scotland, I literally made the world my
oyster!
The urge to nurture has always been
a strong instinct for me and skin care
goes hand in hand with this. I began my
skin care journey in New Zealand where
I trained and worked mainly with French
products which smelt beautiful but gave
no real results.
I have loved our exciting industry since I
was a child when I use to give my mum
and dad make-overs!
My first experience with Dermalogica
was here in Australia while attending the
Melbourne Training Centre. I was blown
away by the level of professionalism
from the Training Specialists.
Working for the world’s number 1
professional skin care company is my
career highlight to date. I look forward
to meeting you all in class and helping
you on your journey to becoming a
Dermalogica expert!
It was when I moved to the beautiful city
of Melbourne that the opportunity arose
to work with Dermalogica – the number
one skin care brand in the world. I am
so proud and happy to be working for
and using such a reputable brand that
actually delivers.
I have two main passions in life - skin
and travel. Working for Dermalogica
gives me the opportunity to explore
both my passions by travelling and Face
Mapping® the world! It is a pleasure to
come to work everyday and support
other like-minded Therapists, to be
more successful through Dermalogica’s
excellent education and innovative
products. The whole team here look
forward to spending time with you and
supporting you in your career as part of
our tribe.

I started my career in skin health around 7 years ago. I was
not only passionate about my own skin care regime, but my
families, friends and quite frankly anyone that would listen. I
remember attending my very first Dermalogica workshop. I
was captivated by the passion, focus and ability to engage
the audience that the Educator displayed. I kept thinking,
‘That’s where I want to be’.
Since my first exposure to Dermalogica in 2005 as part of
the college partnership programme, I have admired the
high standards of education set by the company. I had
the opportunity to go to the Istanbul Congress in 2008
and since that amazing experience I said to myself ‘Wow!
My dream is to work with this company.’ I have recently
moved to Melbourne and my dream has come true, I can
proudly say I work for the best skin care company in the
world. I look forward to welcoming you and watching your
education journey also.
When the opportunity arose to be a Dermalogica Training
Specialist, I was ecstatic. To work amongst amazing,
knowledgeable and talented educators is truly a dream
come true! I hope that I can pass on my knowledge and
passion to the next generation of skin therapists.

Since before I can remember, I knew that one day I would
have a career in the industry. It wasn’t long after I began
studying that I discovered my passion for learning and
education. Once I began working in the industry, it was
here that I was introduced to Dermalogica. I was instantly
impressed with the products and the ongoing training and
support provided. I am now so excited to be joining the
Education team in Perth and look forward to meeting other
Skin Therapists and watching them become the best that
they can be.
My journey began in high school where I studied as a
school based traineeship, from there I progressed to
college and have worked in the industry ever since. I have
always had a passion for education and skin care so when
the opportunity to work for Dermalogica in Perth arose,
I jumped at the chance to be a part of a company that
values my passions. I look forward to meeting you on your
Dermalogica journey!

My Dermalogica journey started in Dublin, Ireland 12 years
ago. I attended workshops at the International Dermal
Institute and it was here that my passion ignited. I worked
with Dermalogica as a Skin Specialist but always knew my
heart was set on becoming a Training Specialist. I moved
from Ireland to Perth with my Husband 7 years ago and
followed my dream and now; here I am. I look forward to
seeing you in class and watch as you too gain knowledge
and follow your education goals with Dermalogica.
I became interested in the skin industry after being asked
to do front desk work for a small local skin centre in New
Zealand. Being on front desk gave me a great insight into
the industry and on a daily basis I witnessed both pride and
self-esteem growing in our customers. I knew I just had to
be a part of it all!
My favourite area of our industry is of course SKIN! I love to
know the ‘why’ behind everything along with the satisfaction
of seeing the huge changes that great skin care can make.
In 2011, I qualified as a Personal Trainer, now allowing me
to understand and guide people to both inner and outer
results of skin and body health.
