Along the way he encounters a plethora of unique and offbeat characters, including oracles, monsters, sorcerers and seductresses – all of whom will either help him or attempt to stop him from fulfilling his destiny… Athens is in turmoil. Not only is it under siege by the vast Minoan army and its bloodthirsty King Minos, but there is ongoing political unrest which spawns an assassination attempt on King Aegeus. It falls upon the Athenian queen, the brilliant and unmerciful sorceress Medea, to thwart the challenges to the throne, aided by young Hero, Aegeus’ secret son. Hero’s mythical quest leads him through the darkest realms of Ancient Greece, accompanied by the beautiful but twisted Oracle of Gaia and genius inventor Daedalus, as he battles trickster Gods, vicious monsters, seductive nymphs, kings and despots. Forced to experiences betrayal, love, disappointment, empowerment and exile, Hero must transform from fresh-faced and naïve to calculating, ruthless, and cold hearted – a match for the Gods themselves. After discovering the real reason he was brought up in hiding, we follow the young and idealistic Hero as he strives to unlock the doors to Olympus and become an immortal. As Aegeus’ first born, he holds within himself the mystical Lexicon – the key to solving the riddle of the Gods...
