Jesus Saves! Jesus Saves!
Sunday, March 8, 2015
We at the Lansing Church of Christ would like to extend a warm welcome to all of
our visitors. It is truly a blessing to have you in our midst to praise and worship the
Lord with us in spirit and in truth.
As saints of God, we are striving to make heaven our eternal home. We have been
redeemed by his Blood, sanctified by his Spirit, and sustained by his Grace.
God is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should
come to repentance.
Baptism (Mark 16:16)
Confess (Matt 10:32)
Repent (Acts 2:38)
The accumulation of our sin
Was a weighty cross to bear
Our sins of past, present, and future
Hung Lord Jesus there
But mighty were those arms of love
Stretched out for you and me
Worthy were those feet that walked
And prayed in Gethsemane
From His side poured out water and blood
Not one bone was broken
Fulfilled prophecy to the letter
Thus our God had spoken
Here the Saviour of the world
Obedient to His Father's will
Gave up the ghost and died our death
So He could Deliver still
Deliver still He does our Lord
Sinners He saves by grace
Whomsoever shall call upon Christ's name
Will see Him face to face
He is the Resurrection and the Life
He's conqueror over the grave
Tell the world this story brother
Jesus Saves! Jesus Saves!
Believe (Heb 11:6)
Hear (Rom 10:17)

The temporary Sunday school teacher was struggling to open a combination lock on the supply
cabinet. She had been told the combination, but couldn't quite remember it. Finally she went to the
pastor's study and asked for help. The pastor came into the room and began to turn the dial. After the
first two numbers he paused and stared blankly for a moment. Finally he looked serenely heavenward
and his lips moved silently. Then he looked back at the lock, and quickly turned to the final number,
and opened the lock. The teacher was amazed. "I'm in awe at your faith, pastor," she said. "It's really
nothing," he answered. "The number is on a piece of tape on the ceiling."
“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
