R.C.I.A. NEWS (Rite of Christian Initiation for
Adults): INQUIRY MEETINGS MONDAYS, 7PM, ADULT
LEARNING CENTER R.C.I.A. is a process of preparation for those who want to become Catholic: 1) Who
are unbaptized or Baptized in another Christian
church; Or, 2) For those who wish to complete their
initiation by receiving the Sacraments of First Eucharist & Confirmation. Contact Ruth, 238-2218, ext 33,

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION: Registration
forms for the 2008/09 school year for grades K-6 are
now available. They may be printed from the St.
Rose Church Website (www.saintrosechurch.org) or
picked up at the Parish Office or vestibule of the
Church. All registrations must be accompanied
with a tuition payment and a copy of the child’s
baptismal certificate. No registration will be accepted without payment and this record. If payment
in full presents a problem, please contact the Religious Education Coordinator, Lina Marion, for possible alternatives. Fees are: $65/student, $90/2 students $110/3 or more students. There is an additional $25 fee for students in the 2nd year of sacramental prep. If you have any questions, please contact Lina at the Parish office, 238-2218, Ext. 54, or refer to the Religious Education welcome letter on our
website. Due to a shortage of catechists, it may be
necessary to limit the number and size of the classes
so please register early.

PETER’S PENCE 2008 COLLECTION FOR THE WORKS
OF THE HOLY FATHER. This weekend our parish will
participate in the Annual Peter’s Pence Collection for
the Works of the Holy Father. Christ Our Hope is the
theme for this year’s collection. Your generosity allows the Holy Father to bring hope~ through timely
and effective emergency assistance~ to our suffering
brothers and sisters throughout the world. In solidarity with the Holy Father, we Catholics participate in
works of goodness that distinguish us as followers of
the Gospel. Please pray for the Holy Father, and
please give generously in your parish.

FOR LOAVES & FISHES
NEXT weekend we will be having our
monthly Food Collection for Loaves &
Fishes. THIS weekend, volunteers will be outside
the church passing out grocery bags for you to take
home and fill with non-perishable food items. Bring
the bags back Next Weekend, July 26/27, for our
volunteers to load into the food trailer. As always,

ayuda oportuna y efectiva de emergencia—a
nuestros hermanos de sufrimiento y hermanas a
través del mundo. En solidaridad con el Santo Padre,
