Introduction
The challenge for Process Development, Media optimization, Process optimization or clone screening lies in the limited
performance of available equipment using traditional scale–up or scale-down methods and equipments at bench scale. Culture
model as shake flask, well plates or disposable multi reactors do not provide so far the automated biological culture models or
recipes of culture to get faster results. The bioPOD is at bench scale, representative of a true scale up method and recipes able to
be transferred at a manufacturing stage with biological control on the process.
