Award for `Olympian Qualities` pictured here with Miss Leonard To be an Olympian requires outstanding qualities and characteristics such as sporting technique and skill, commitment, focus and determination alongside being a leader and role model, inspiring future generations. Therefore the recipient of the Olympic award has to show these qualities alongside the potential to compete in such a blue ribbon event as the Olympics. This pathway is not easy and has its fair share of disappointments as well as accolades.
